Thank you for posting this, MD.  I was very moved by it. :D ;)

Who knew he was best buds with Campbell?  It was interesting to hear about that and their shared transformation. :)

I knew that both were'are Christians and golfers but I didn't know they hung out together.   Makes a lot of sense though looking back.  They had a lot in common what with their problems with drugs in the past.

Jerry Lewis has died at 91.  He had a good run though I'll confess I wasn't the biggest fan of his movies.  I liked him as a person though.  RIP.

RIP.
The French are in mourning and will have their flags lowered.
ps: are they going to posthumously release Jerry's movie, a comedy, about a clown in a NAZI concentration camp?

The Variety story pointed out that Lewis was an ardent right-winger.  No doubt that will make it easier for the French to get over him.  I remember seeing him on Cavuto a few years ago and he looked healthy though you can't hold back the Grim Reaper forever.  He tried though.  I remember when he took steroids and his face was like huge.  He resembled a heavier William Shatner.

Oh here it is.

Whoa. I didn't see him at that point in his career. Wow.

Yeah, he was on steroids for something like a year. They were used to treat his pulmonary fibrosis.  That was around 2003.  After he stopped taking the steroids, he rapidly dropped the weight.

Very sad. He's the last living tie to the Rat Pack. Helped raise over 2.5 billion dollars for muscular dystrophy. An example for the world to follow. RIP Jerry Lewis. 😞

Whoa! Hey, nice lady?! Where am I? What's going on? This is heaven? Bellgab is heaven?! Oy Vey! It's a good thing Jews don't believe in heaven. Can you tell me how to get to the closest Chinese food buffet?  :D

The only musical I have seen on Broadway is Damn Yankees and Jerry Lewis was starring as the devil. It was hilarious.

Probably around 1995.

He was always there for Col Austin, kind of like a father figure.
