there are so many breaks and commercials.
That's my only complaint.
His show is on for 5 hours. Once all the commercials and breaks are taken out for Soundcloud it ends up being only 3 hours.

Wrong. Heather was starting her own podcast. I, and a couple of gabbers got her this equipment. I took her to Pahrump to interview Art which was going to be her first podcast episode but we decided to play it as a gabcast special. Later, of his own design, Art hired her.

"Tonight’s round table discussion brings back familiar voices as they analyze more about the Moon, Mars, and Beyond. Guests include Keith Laney, Robert Harrison, Andrew Currie, Will Farrar and Allan Sturm. Join us as we delve deeper into the ancient civilizations within our solar system."
Damn. Looks like I lost the lottery.

Thanks for the link. I read through most of the thread and still don't really know what happened. From what I can gather RCH fired his producer and then his show went down the tubes......not sure what it has to do with Art and why people would email him. As I said, I just saw Art's tweet of that quote today so I thought it was new.

I thought from the beginning 5days/week is too much for Hoagie since he wants to do his research too.
Maybe a weekend one night a week show would be better for him?

It wouldn't be the first time Art's kicked Richard to the curb. He didn't talk to him nor mention his name for many years during his last few years on C to C. Art thought he was completely crazy. It was sad to see the friendship end at that time. I think Art thought he was just way too crazy at the time. guess he eventually changed his mind over the years.

Dick never had a good reputation on this forum. When Dave threw him under the bus and Art picked him up a lot of us decided to give him a chance. When he is able to keep himself in control he is a good interviewer. He has a lot of charm and knowledge on numerous subjects. This week he has kind of reverted to his normal state of name dropping and dominating conversations. This forum is full of the torch and pitchfork types. I haven't turned on Richard as I am neither for nor against him. Kind of the charming but crazy uncle everyone sees at various holiday get togethers.

Honest question since everyone is so so damn worked up. Would you take a job with no pay? Rossy you may be a master producer but if you did that is absolutly the dumbest move i have heard of since my first divorce. Fuck sake man. Dumb dumb dumbass move.

Did you smoke pot with him? Rick Steves is actually a huge legalization advocate and freely admits to smoking it.
