to mr vara:
please consider that keith was paying for those lines. and since he was paying for those lines, he can elect to shut them down as he chooses. perhaps you might have thought of that before bringing heather onboard, and set her up with phone lines YOU were paying for , and thusly keith cant shut off.
also consider not slamming a few down before you go live.
thanks

when you build a low power computer, and you cant find a decent PSU to power it. so you  end up installing a bunch of fans and a mechanical hard drive to get the PSU to turn on (in this case a corsair PSU, lowest wattage available).
specs:
itx n3150 cpu/board combo (6W processor)
i doubt the board/processor draws more than 8W at full load (10W with 2 fans going), not enough to keep the PSU from cycling on/off ...

all the shitty cheap psu's i have power it fine, but having had terrible luck with those, id rather not use them.

Enjoyed Dave's show last night, the Pam interview was fascinating. Didn't really care much for Mike's stuff and turned it off half hour in, each to our own. Good work though Dave :)
just say no to the flakie thread though. you have been warned.

Thanks for the link. I'm sold. I kind of want to do a radio show now just so I can press all those neat buttons. I'll practice in the meantime by speaking into a bottle of Maker's Mark.
to better imitate some podcasters, speak into a bottle of mad dog 20/20; preferably while drinking it at the same time.

This may be the dumbest argument I've ever read.
LOL

Of our 11 kids, 4 are over the age of 20 and on their own.
My finances are fine, I work doing something I love and my wife works. We take care of our own.
Thanks for the concern and weird discussion.

Now pass the Tide pods and let's all be friends.
welcome to top rh corner club. although with this thread the club is getting crowded ...
and instead of tide pods cant we do something somewhat more palatable like shrooms or something?

Give him a break. He's fighting with the Flash embeds and the iFrames are not cooperating.
the same flash that $micro$oft keeps issuing updates  biweekly for, due to security issues?

Sure hope those cat ladies don't have dialup. It's a massive 326MB file.

Mmmm, listen to that silky smooth 192kbps mono encode. Heather sure sounds hot. And by "hot," I mean clipping constantly.

Nice, I use VLC as a media player but didn't realize it could record.

Plus, I can use it on my Linux laptop and schedule from the command line.

Thanks.
try something like
cvlc -v http://addressof.stream/stream_name --sout='#transcode{vcodec=none,acodec=mp2a,ab=128,channels=2,samplerate=48000}:std{access=file,mux=mp3,dst="filename.mp3"}'

note that is all one line.

Yeah, I hear you.

So who is going to record it?...someone please.

None of us IMHO should sign up to the network to boost their numbers.

then you could set up a relay for bellgabbers to listen to , which would inflate vara's network numbers by exactly 1 instead of all the rabid bellgabbers connecting directly to vara's network.
just sayin.

Even Noory has played the MITD song on c2cam, just recently a couple months back. Seems like anyone can play it no matter who owns the song, just like they play all other artists' songs and don't own them.
if you have an agreement with the record industry (and pay them) you can play all the songs you want live.

there is breaks from commercials on coast?
