Politics / Re: Duck Dynasty shitstorm

every year since 1890 the united states has had offshore military action, somewhere in the world.
here is a timeline from 1775-present: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_United_States_military_operations#1775.E2.80.931799
just shows that both the demicons and republicrats  have similar lines of thinking. the major difference seems to be the demicons want a socialist govt, while the republicrats want a corportist based govt. to the average  person there is no difference, as both require big govt to control their lives. currently our govt is run by corps ,as both sides get on their knees for corps (who by the way often fund both sides) for their brib... errr "campaign contributions".

as far as the duck dynasty thing goes, yes he has the right to free speech. his boss also has the right to not associate with him.
i don't know what a duck dynasty thing is, and i do not watch that brain washing device moving picture either.

in other words we all have the freedom to make an ass of ourselves in public. a quick glance through this thread shows that to be blatantly obvious.

Never trust a man with a beard..ever. And four together with beards; don't trust them four times more. It's a fact.

Do people actually watch that shit?  Four blokes with beards pissing into cammo fatigues, and it's entertainment?

and certainly dont trust this guy with your bacon

Both make really good statements/points. But when it all falls down to it, it's your fault it is this way. Don't get me wrong at all it is just as my fault to. I have seen police kick young woman in the face because they refused to move when marching against Wars, Banks, and even GMO's. I watched it happen and did nothing. This makes me a bad as the officer who did, in fact even worse."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." (Edmund Burke) Which is so true. Now I'm not saying, eye for a eye, but we still need to film all actions with police and make them accountable for there actions. If you walk out of your home and don't have a video & audio camera go buy one. Because that's are best weapon to fight aggressive police who care nothing about the law. All the way till charges are filed no them for abuse!!1

make sure you set it to auto-upload to youtube or someplace. the person confiscating the camera or ordering you to erase the pictures/video does not have to know immediately (if they size the camera they will know eventually, might be hours though).furthermore, if you are thinking you might be in a situation where the camera might be seized or you ordered to erase it make sure you have a friend monitor the youtube account and mirror it (so if it gets a takedown order....).

I haven't seen any studies but it seems easier and easier for someone to end up arrested and put in jail.  Looking at a cop the wrong way can put you in the back of a squad car.  I appreciate the police when they are needed, but there also seems to be a lot more unwarranted aggressiveness toward innocent people.

some would say the average american commits 1-3 felonies a day.

I'm amazed by the number of shows in which the guest, or callers, sound better than the host.  You can buy a pretty good microphone for $100.  A few of the shows seem to have good content, but are almost unlistenable because the audio quality is so bad.

or call in to your own show, cause the mic on your cell is vastly better than the mic your using now.

Hmmm, PB used hyperbole comparing a civil war in Syria with carrying a firearm...Or did you miss that?

And do what? (Hypothetically) get an illegal firearm and open up...shoot straight through the mugger, hit another person stood a few yards behind him? Or the alternative, it get turned back on me; and I get shot and killed. The instance of people being killed by their own weapon is pretty high.

i would support training in order to purchase, or proof of training.

Quote
Fortunately? Yeah, well, that little snippet was drawn up before Jackson heaving her tits out made a bigger scandal than the several thousand per year who are killed by guns. That mentality is seriously screwed up.

nor are the 25000 deaths due to drunk driving every year. [sarcasm] for some reason no one seems to want to ban alcohol anymore[/sarcasm]

Quote
Paranoid? Not at all, I can shoot...(you didn't know that one did you?), but because I was trained by the RAF how to use one properly, I know what they can do. So not paranoia, but rather letting just anyone have one is mindless.

again i would support training.

QuoteYeah? And what of the of children who pick up loaded weapons and shoot the family and friends? Is there an acceptable attrition rate?

again training.100's of infants die from being fed honey every year too. many, many (far, far to many) more from physical abuse. none of that  become headlines, unless some celeb or politician is involved.

Why are you Libs so paranoid about our guns?  They are used improperly in such a small percentage, and even then , it's statistically just some loser taking the easy way out of life.

also in that small percentage resides the criminals who were barred from owning guns to begin with. who then acquired one anyways and used it...

hey i have a great idea:
instead of utilizing a healthcare program every working american pays for ,but most cannot enroll in, we will make a 2000+ page new healthcare law that will cost the working american more (63% more in my case), with a higher co-pay and still not be able to utilize the health care that they pay for (by law) out of every paycheck (taken out by your employer to comply with FICA laws). in addition it will cause most smaller employers (and greedy larger ones) to make almost everyone part time (29 hours), to avoid having to provide said insurance. happened to my son, who went from 60 hours a week (he was saving for college, now he is broke) to 29.

processes wil still be limited to 4GB of ram per process, but if you are using that much ram, you need to find out why. PAE should allow you to use up to 64 GB ram. $micro$haft  limits it by os version .only windows 2008 enterprise and datacenter (not R2) allow 64GB... ,newer versions i believe (could be wrong) are only  64bit.
