Dynamo, IF this thing goes off as planned.  Methinks it will be even more epic than the last.

Lee sounded kinda nasal on that one, I thank I got infacted.  My mind wasn't innit...

Re-listening now...

Puppies!

VC or maybe Groyper MIGHT have to take my place, my mum is currently in hospital and my dog is having his leg amputated tomorrow following a rather shitty cancer diagnosis. First two weeks following amputation are supposed to be very bad. I will keep you guys informed.

Yes it has been a full on shitstorm of a weekend.

Hopefully the tripod to be will be ok in time and mother gets out of hospital with nothing further happening.

I go to bed and this thread was a squirt love fest and I get up and there’s shit all over the walls and someone exsanguinated Young Stolp left him in the pool.

“That escalated quickly”

Rubini will say whatever gets a reaction, a snake oil salesman who knows a little about a few things and can talk fast enough to make you believe. I enjoy watching the USSR 1970’s level gymnastic ability to flick flack around that he possesses, but only to watch, there’s not enough salt in the world for his words.

It really is a shame Heather didn’t joint MITD it would have been the most glorious meltdown of the lot and might even have surpassed the Schrodinger Kolby episode which I feel was the apotheosis of her time gurning into the radio.

The ease with which he doxxed (or not) the Groyp is also a cause for concern.

Let us spice this up properly. Maybe Anthony should start to call in, he will have a show by the end of the week.

No offence Rubini, just the truth.

I can't do a GabCast this coming Sunday, but I could do it on the afternoon of Sunday the 19th if that would work for you. DynamoHum could join us if she'd like.

The Universe is smiling on us because that is a good day for me as well.

I really have no memory. Art died. Heather cried (mourned). For long enough that Keith fired her. She was replaced by somebody else.Heather started a new show. Then quit. Then started. Then quit. Basically, she proved she was the true #legacy.

Along the way, she was counseled by astrologer to the stars, Lasha (Rosegirl) on how to win friends and influence people. As it turns out, Lasha may not be the best teacher for that subject.

The song posted above was a "MV instant classic" describing what poor Keith went through.

Where were we? Ah yes. Heather says Art killed himself. Dynamohum gets upset. Airyn (sp?) Bell goes on DH's show to set the record straight. MITD host quits and is replaced by Dave Schrader, who attracts all of the cat ladies as rabid fans (and, to be fair, did not completely suck on the few shows I heard him on.)

Keith did a gabcast. Now sold MITD to some flat earther named "Tim" (see below.) I don't think it was a dream... I'm pretty certain that Heather then hosted one program of MITD after that. And then another "Tim" hosted a few shows. And then it disappeared completely for a month. Now owned by Rubini, MITD has brought on "Dave Stapleman" as the new host of MITD.

And we all are waiting on the actual ride to end. You may have thought it ended with Bell's death when you appear to have stepped off the ride. But if anything, it has been picking up speed.

Edit: I almost forgot. Noorie still sucks.

That was excellent. Especially the Dave Noory bit.

I have 100k subscribers on YouTube and I don't even post content there. I'm not sure I need help growing an audience.

We are all learning all the time, no?

The Groyp has special YouTube-Fu. His YouTube shows evoke a certain frisson, a Tesla like tingle, and his empirical use of “my baby” has engendered even the most hardened desert rat to embrace his singular way of doing things in a titular display of coquettishness not seen since the heady days of [Redacted].

One doesn’t simply brush away a chance to learn from The Groyp.

I think it is extremely nice of you to allow them to share your stage and also to give your regular viewers the chance to experience the shouty uniqueness of Rubini and the quiet slightly panicked calm of Nathan.

It will be a crossing of streams the like of which YouTube has never witnessed.

The natural home for this would be the GabCast, and while my small and unassuming show has had some interesting guests (Airyn Bell telling Heather (rightly) to stop talking about her suicide claims etc), the GabCast takes precedence in terms of the history of Art, which MITD in any incarnation is rightfully a part of.

I bet I can get Nathan to join us too.

Maybe I'll have to pay him but.. whatever.

Directly after Heather turned down your offer to host the show (according to her). Which is why I wanted to hear from you to get your side of the story, not really interested in you slapping your dick on the desk to try and be the alpha, that shit really doesn’t work with me.

How you managed to miss it on the two emails I sent it to (including the advertising USA one) is.. odd.

I’ve included the screenie to help you find the email (don’t worry about it including my real name, I’m well doxxed around these here parts).

Maybe you can find a screenie from the Wayback machine to show your name on the DMDN website cause I am looking and I can’t see it...

Hey DynamoHum!  You dirty RAT!

Yes!

Please send my invitation to come on your podcast now, with LOVE, to:

producer@midnightinthedesert.com

Why not make this fun and easy and also invite Pete, Keith, Leo, RW, Dr. J, and Heather to join us ?

Dead serious!

Let's DO this!

"Associate Producer - David Rubini " and "RW Sanders" were both directly under John Elias' name listed on the MITD contact page since DAY 1 July 20th 2015 onward. When Heather came aboard, she immediately took Dr. J's position. Rather, replaced him. D. J and I talked recently. Just a few weeks ago. I betcha he'd come on if you asked!

Heather, RW and I worked really well w/ each other. Sometimes I sent bookings through Keith and continued contact w/ Art and remined booking for Art all the way through that 1st and last 2015 December. We even had a 2nd FE debate scheduled on the books that Art and I talked more than a few times about before the "shooter" incident.

My fave show I was responsible for was Joe Rogan or the epic MITD Fake Moon Landing debate Weidner Vs. Friedman. NDT was perhaps his most popular show.

I'm responsible for the coolest shows in 2015 MITD HISTORY BITCH! Heather and Dr. J also booked awesome shows as did RW. Facts are Facts.

I negotiated a deal with my former colleague KR here at MITD just mere months ago?

What's your beef?

EVERYONE KNOWS NOW ABOUT THE GREAT RUBINI I was just a hidden, humble badass in 2015.

Not anymore.

And YOU - you were just always on the OUTSIDE looking in.

Buy and read my book - when I decide to write it.

You are probably my biggest fan and just now are realizing it.

PEACE

:)

#TakeBackTheNight

I already did email you and invite you on my show - you never replied.

Nathan said he spoke with and was paid by the owner of the radio station yesterday on July 8. KNYE Karen? That would be easy to confirm.

Anyway, Rubini claims he booked at least 3-4 guests, and he named some of their names: Neil Degrasse Tyson, Joe Rogan, Jay Weidner. Says he was Associate Producer, but Keith Rowland chose Dr. J. over him.

He LOVES Heather Wade, btw. :D

Why was he paid by Karen?

KNYE stopped running MITD a while back ... before Keith sold up due to stream issues...

I just want to add that if I am wrong and he did in fact work as a producer in some even tenuous capacity then that’s cool and great for him, I’m not mean spirited enough to get arsey about it.

Buuut, we’ll just wait and see.

To be fair, I have never heard of Pete Eberhardt. But I pay very little attention to these things. Just the same, I did a quick search. Talkers mentions Rubini November 14 2014: "Spearheading the national radio syndication effort and overall brand extension is David Rubini, former CBS RADIO ad executive and current operations executive of C2M Network." So it seems that he likely "speaks" radio, and has been around for awhile.

I had mentioned earlier that I think in this business the personalities are apt to have slightly inflated egos and inflate their experience. With that in mind, all it would take is for him to have produced a single episode as a fill-in to be "Art's producer" and be telling the truth.

That is the joy of this new world we live in. Don't get me wrong- I hope you keep digging and it would be funny if nobody ever heard of him. But I don't know that means that he was not "Art's producer" at some point in time... For at least one day... unpaid... unrecognized... and uncredited.  ;)

Heather was his producer for a while, so clearly the title was flung around like a red hot poker, I agree.

Pete was his ad sales manager for The Sirius run and for the MITD startup, as well as part of the run til he Heather got him fired after she took over.

I don’t doubt he had a finger in the MITD pie somewhere at some point, but I think there might be some overegging of the producer pie going on.

Glorious 2015 term indeed. Pete Eberhardt has never heard of ya :)

I doubt you will reply to this, you haven’t replied on here and you didn’t reply when I emailed you when Heather shitcanned you - what was the story there? Guess we will never know and will have to go with what Heather said, which is akin to asking Baghdad Bob how the war was going..

I still have approximately an hour of the BellGab extravaganza to go and I enjoy chaos very much, but this is still a shitshow - quite amazing.

Rubini is paranoid, Nathan is a nice guy clearly, but is unable to deal with irony - with hilarious results, who the fuck was the guy in the suit!? I wouldn’t buy a car off him for sure.

The Groyp only needed to do a 5 second Karen impersonation and Rubini is shitting his pants and slapping his dick on the desk to protect himself.

Strange and compelling!

I would like to be a fly on the wall of all those meetings they are in every day ... I almost ALMOST wish Heather had been taken on as a host - maybe for weekends to just add to the fuckedupness.... it would have been priceless!

I enjoyed it, but come on lads, it wasn’t a radio show. 25 bucks a month to subscribe? GTFO LOL.

Come back when you don’t run out of quarters in the phone box in the middle of the show ;)

With your contacts and connections it should be easy to confirm. Rubini claims to personally know the Bell family and Karen and Keith Rowland too. IIRC, he said he got the Moon Landing and Flat Earth guests for Art Bell's show. He claims to be the owner, wants to keep some Art Bell show traditions alive, but he would not comment about other interests that seem to be or may be involved with indirect "ownership" or other management or other interests. There seems to be multiple interests involved somehow. I have no idea what that is though, but he is very protective of the Bell family. Won't comment about it further. (See my 7 questions I posted earlier in the thread.)

He seems to know how to troll Nathan and Bellgab while "interrupting" on the phone numerous times. An act. You definitely need to listen to the last 2-3 hours. The first hour had a guest, and they went an hour longer than normal. Let me know if you find a copy, so I/we can get it on temporary short term DL before poofing. Thanks.

Yeah I can’t find it ... so that would be cool. I will speak to Karen and see what she says, and I have two others that I can verify with. The one I spoke to last night was a long time contact that has always been open to questions from me and was close to Art.

Wish I could have called in it sounds like it was wild, look forward to hearing it :)

I caught the last hour when she got all whiny with a desk slap and momentarily teary with yucky nasal sniffling, typical of Heater, about Americans taking sides and fighting each other and wants her callers to stop too. Mentioned a "squirrel" smelling a daisy and Carl Sagan's Blue Dot on her website. We have better things to be doing and read some emails. Complained callers were hanging-up before she could take the call. (Of course, Heater is unaware she's in love with her own voice too much to take a call promptly.) As usual, Markus had to call-in to coo "Heather my queen I adore you" blah blah blah...

Ohh, hahaha, Markus suggested she get co-hosts. Bwhahahaha! Of course, Heater immediately squatted that bright idea down... "Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians!" "Oh No!" "That's dangerous territory right there!" Hehe.

Sappy Stale Nuts! :D

I just heard it. Very poor. She also mentioned at the start that hse was pleased it was going to be a time with very few guests ...

Guessing all that prep for October is taking its toll.
