You bet it was, and of course Rense is the biggest wanna be out there, he has never quite made it, now has he.  There are always those out there who want to bring others down, we live in a sick world.

I've heard of Rense before but never heard one of his shows. I went to his website to see what he was about and it was full of links to "ZIONIST CONSPIRACIES" and "FREEMASON NWO" and "BLAME TEH JEWZ!". I never had much interest after finding out he was one of *those* nuts.

Has anyone here given his show a chance? Is it all purely political (or "alternative media") stuff?

That's fascinating to see, since you say the same about Alex Jones listeners,
so logically we can conclude, when an insane person like you makes such claims the
target of his claim are probably the more sane people.

I am sooo sorry my princeling *curty* to have disappointed you and your faith in women.

Good job trying to sound intellectual while dismissing someone with what amounts to "You're gay".

Next post needs more $10 words like "princeling"

Art's never once made me vibrate all night. I may be listening to my radio incorrectly though.

Sadly that's not the way it works Lena.

Jones makes claims and people doubt them - the burden of proof is on Jones to prove his ideas correct, not for others to prove his ideas false.

Also I fail to see how symptoms of mental illness, extreme paranoia and a propensity to jump to conclusions show that Jones has "more guts" than anyone else on this board.

"Alex Jones - Is he a nutbar, or are you?"

Yes. He is a nutbar.
#2318
He sounded really burned out - REALLY burned out. However, I think the source of his difficulties in large part were actually a stuttering problem.

That having been said, Art was totally right to pull him off the air. The guy clearly couldn't handle himself on the radio for three-four hours.

You're right, thank a god we have ALEX JONES as a bastion of critical thinking and skepticism in this world

holy shit, i haven't seen a recent picture of him in a while, he looks like the guy on the bambu wrapper...

Great observation. My initial impression went back to Pet Sematary

Reckon you shouldn't bury anything up that hill. The ground is sour.

By the way -- honest truth, my hand to Dog (I'm an atheist) -- while running the spell check after I cut n pasted the Webster site reply into the 'reply" windowl, it suggested "C**k-S****r"  as a suggested alternative to "George Noory".   Damn near pissed my pants.

Oh man that's funny

It is a huge difference in approach to have the "host" making the crazy statements instead of the caller.  Then things are flipped, we look to the caller for a retort and lo he hasn't got one (because he's a moron) and so you have radio silence followed by George Noory, "Are you there? Looks like he hung up."
He definitely turned the tables with this one. I was quite surprised.

Quote from: anagrammy on January 28, 2011, 08:15:22 AM
It is a symptom of desperation.  Imagine the numbers of catladies (no offense) and fawning dowagers they had to wade through to find this scrawney specimen. And then they handfeed him because CHrist-on-a-pogo-stick THEY can't even stay awake, let alone the audience.
haha
This brings up an interesting question though - since Art had nothing to do with him, how was George picked as a successor? And why for that matter? One would think that Art had a backup plan, or someone to cover for him, if things ever went south. Wasn't he grooming the next host while he was on the top of the pyramid?

Oh, to be a fly on the wall during the Clear Channel after action meetings.  Maybe Valdez can give us some hilarious movie voiceovers for those.
CC:  Why in the world did you tell the caller the stars had gone out?  Why, George, why?
GN:  I misread the card
lol!

Wow.  Well, mission accomplished - someone "out there" is actually seeing what the hardcore fans think!

I hope they got the "noory sucks" part, too.

Glad you liked it.  I would say that this is pretty typical of Ian over the last year or so.  Sure, he has the odd stinker (the horse guy), but overall, I think he has had a pretty good run since 2009.  He recently did a very good show about offshore banking, and last year did a couple of great shows about the Kensington runestone - JC even called in on one of those.  I'll see if I have them and post them here if you like.

I heard the Kensington Runestone shows and I was impressed with them as well.

I was pretty surprised by this show! The guest went off the rails and Ian handled it like a pro. A very surprising interview.

Art started using screeners in 2006, so I don't think that really has anything to do with why he left. It was due to the time difference between Manilla and the US...

OR SO THEY SAID
