I honestly wonder if they still will be. They've been diehard C2C sponsors for ages. Bob Crane and Art are friends, and some of you may remember that the original CCRadio, with the speaker 'tuned for the human voice', was originally advertised as tuned to Art's voice. I don't know where else they advertise, and they don't sell satellite radios, so I don't see them jumping to Dark Matters.

That reminds me, I still have the C.Crane ORIGINAL hand crank radio that Art advertised built like a tank. I still use it when power goes out. Maybe I should take a picture and post it, since I noticed there isn't a single one on the web that can be searched.

I think George is quite capable of coming here and trying to win new friends, or at least sidetrack things - all while planning to put Oates on the show.  Are those exclusive of each other?

You're right that it is certainly possible that George could have made the "gnoory" posts (although for reasons I have previously stated I don't think more than a few were genuinely by him) while contemplating Oates as a guest. It just means George is one of the most duplicitous, untrustworthy and self-serving guys around - which you also recognize. But what is not possible is that the gnoory posts were made:
1) in good faith
2) by someone who was "not so bad after all", and
3) who "needed to be given a chance",
as so many here were gulled into thinking.

My objection was that the whole "gnoory" campaign was a lie. Because we had seen the pure, unfiltered George for 10 years, and we knew that the real George was
1) petty
2) vindictive, and
3) mean-spirited.

In other words, everything the "gnoory" posters didn't seem to be. A fact which was immediately overlooked in the rush to get in some quality kumbaya time. As I posted in the Art Bell thread yesterday, I cancelled my streamlink, or whatever the hell they call it now, account. The only reason I still had it was for SIT and Knapp, as well as laziness on my part by dragging my feet to finally cancel. The last time I used it was for the missing persons shows hosted by Knapp. I can't recall the last time I used it to listen to a show hosted by the 'Stache. I got an email today asking me to take a small survey on why I cancelled. I told them I was subscribing to Sirius for Art Bell's new show and didn't want Dave to get another hard earned penny of my money after that Pizza-roll eating Parasite had Oates on.

I'm paraphrasing, the actual response was a bit more professional, but you get the basic idea.
