Long story short, if a man is doing things right, he doesn't even need a penis.

I sincerely believe that ever since circumcision, penile penetration is a often a mere distraction from good sex.

......

LOL.  Didn't expect such a long and thorough response.  Basically you confirm what I've always thought.  Thanks!  ;D

When my wife married me it certainly wasn't for money, back then I didn't have any. Would you not agree that woman these days tend to be much more visually stimulated than they use to be? Of course men get turned on fast and furious with the visual whether it be LARGE breasts, nice hair, eyes, hell I even notice if a woman has nice feet!

You never hear about hoards of woman getting exited because the all male Asian review is in town.
Maybe pop culture leads them, like how men nowadays are led more and more toward grooming products, waxing, and even make-up.  A lot of people just follow the role models they see.  Trends used to take time to travel from one coast to the next (or continent) but with mass media everywhere, the mob mentality expands fast.

Yes, I'm from the Kinsey Institute.  I was just borrowing Monica's tablet.

And remember that young and healthy people can take or leave items below for granted, but as we age, we may need to actually plan them because of changes in our bodies like stiffness, arthritis, weaker muscles, less stamina, more need to urinate, possible "leakage", atrophy, blood sugar issues, need for medication at certain times, more pain/fall risk when showering (after sex), slower response times, etc...  Therefore it is helpful to consider investing from the following list:

- a sense of humor and flexible schedule
- a positive feeling back-up plan, like going out, in case things go south
- a courtesy plan, for the partner who still might want satisfaction
- whatever you need for safe sex.
- birth control - Menopausal women have gotten pregnant, especially those on estrogen.  Disposible, non-invasive condoms, Today sponges and spermicide are option for women who don't want to deal with hormonal birth control, fittings for cervical caps, or IUD implants.
- a bedside prescription kit
- convenient bedside snacks, spill-proof water, and a waste basket
- the right tools/equipment https://www.goodvibes.com/s?mref=home-572490&ref=gla807&src=gv
- pre-tinkered adaptations like long handles, or soft covering over hard vibrators
- preferred stimulating oils (usually menthol or glycerine)
- cotton sheets
- door lock
- good drapes
- white noise if you need it (purifiers are good, or sound machines)
- A/C, fan, and portable heater, light blanket
- preferred lubrication (not Vaseline; it deadens female nerve endings semi-permanently).
- re-usable large absorbent pads to protect the mattress from leakage, or beach towels
- mood items (music, candles, led candles, low light, strobe or party lights, fragrance)
- towels (This is NOT your first rodeo - dry her off!) and a place to toss them

Both men and women potentially have sexual dysfunction as they get older.  We all know many women ditch sex long before 50.  By being organized, partners have a much better chance at happy endings some of the time, or at least some happiness trying.  There is viagra for men, so presumably there is something out there for women, either prescription topical, or from the local health and supplement store.  Men's body building websites discuss women's sexuality and nutritional/lifestyle ways to keep a woman in hearty sexual shape.  The gist of it is to avoid hormone disrupters (vehicle exhaust, vaseline, smoke, fumes, plastic, microwaving in plastic, plastic bottled drinks...) and to eat nutritional food including zinc (oysters, watermelon) and cruciferous vegetables, as well as celery. And exercise.

It's very odd that women's sexuality is so often ignored, because men love sex.  Logic would dictate that if women enjoy sex, men will get more of it.  But, that memo was not well distributed.

WTF? once again you're not giving your own opinion on anything. That's all fluff up there.  Nice Drapes?  And judging from your other post you seem to have a problem with snipped units. That's almost racist.

I didn't say nice drapes.  I said good drapes, ones that function.  You are young.  Older people's hormones dwindle.  That's why women gain excess facial hair, and why men's voices go up as they age.  Hormones literally wither.  Men struggle with impotence, women are dry and sometimes have pain.  Women's orgasms shorten, lighten, and diffuse.  And take more work.

As you age, climax is more tenuous.  No sense letting a hard-earned climax be sabotaged by a moment of panic as you see grandma's form through the gaps in the lace on your little curtains, as she gardens or turns on a faucet outside your window!  Young people can just warm up again, but an older person's joints might be aching from the sex positions, or their hands might be numb from holding a vibrator or repetitive strokes, or it might be time for their medication.  One little surprise through a sheer curtain spot can ruin a climax they and their partner may have worked toward for an hour, and which they might not be able to recoup once momentum is lost.  They don't have the stamina to necessarily get back into the swing of things.  An older person seeking good sex needs to plan ahead with solid drapes to prevent emotional surprises.  And to prevent glare.

Nothing I said is false.

Your word choice implied that one's available selections are "prescription medication" or "the local health and supplement store." Do you have any idea how many useful medicinal plants are growing right outside your window? Neither do I.

Actually I am well read in herbalism.  There's nothing in that garden to help an older person's sex drive.  I mean dandelion root, milk thistle, and bitters tonify the liver and blood, but it will take more than that.  Sometimes the dollar store sells an herbal called Men's T (a woman's dose, actually).  The herbs in it don't grow here, but get good online reviews with no known side effects.  Super Supplements has a sex aid section.  I suppose menthol or glycerin can be made somehow (without the petroleum!).

Poor you.
Poor me?  Poor me? Have you ever googled "Jackstar"!
You are so obnoxious.  Women's climaxes are often tenuous!
KSM said I'm not speaking from experience...
Was there life before sex?  Before you hit puberty?
Many women feel a bond has been lifted, that they are free.  Some say when they anticipate a healthy visit from a grandchild, their heart skips the way it used to when they were young and in love. I hope my path is not quite that innocent, so thanks for the book!

Oh?

So who then are you if not Monica?

And did she leave her tablet logged in to bellgab or are you accessing her account on your own?

Do you think that impersonation is a "safe space" to share your geriatric sex guidance in?

Please do share honestly.

Cripes,  I LOVE a good mystery!

But this whole geriatric sex primer act has me dismayed and simultaneously curious.

That can not be a good thing, long term... :-\

I actually don't remember what its name was before.
Dr. MD MD called me Harmonicat.  With nine lives, safe space is not as vital.

Huh, so the tub is a metaphor for self.

Ok...

Interesting.

It's a metaphor for self if the person is IN it.  Mostly I think, though, rejuvenation and release of daily worries.  I use online sources to learn subconscious meanings about dreams.

Why then the need for 2 tubs for a couple?

Why not one big one!

Exactly.  America has a lot of great qualities, but the over-zealous commitment to staunch individualism can be tiresome.
