#ExactlyTheSameButDifferent

According to the link, she was living there when I was. She's two years younger, though. But then most of my roommates were.  Accent was dead on.

Looks like this is where she used to live.

I legit could have gone to college with this chick.  :o  Funny thing is, from the moment I heard her voice on air, she sounded just like an old college roommate of mine from that same area. A girl from Utah.. different name, though.

Does anyone else think “bad 70’s porno” when you hear the intro music to the old C2C episodes? Not that I would know..

I don't see people here hating on her, only those who find her very public ‘poor me’ meltdown a sad distraction for Art’s listeners who wish to honor him following his death.

i tend to agree. I think this is more about being disturbed by what’s happening to Art Bell’s legacy, and  seeing someone act crazy.. not stepping up for his widow and kids, but complaining about how no one understands her big loss. I mean, whatever we thought of Art for ditching MITD, and his choice of replacements, I think we still care about his body of work, and about his actual family.

She should ask for a patreon or go fund me. A lot of podcast have them, some people on Facebook are telling her they want to help.
she said today that she doesn’t want help, and that she’ll have any gofundme accounts for her shut down.

She obviously in clear depression and not thinking clearly. Empathy isn’t the worse thing to have towards people. She isnt’t a criminal, or other horrible person. She doesn’t try to force fake beet juice or quack medical advice. Not sure I agree with the extreme hatred being flung her way.

It’s sad that she has no one she’s willing to listen to who can just tell her how it is. Somebody willing to say STFU! and she’ll be like “you know? You’re right”. I wonder if Airyn has tried to talk to her?

It would be easier if they'd just set up an official permitting process.

Where does the line start? Do I need to camp out for this shit?

Geesh.  Can't we just bring Art back from the dead for Heather and end all this?  Come on, God, where are your priorities?
;D

Cringe.

Seriously? What about his two young children who will do their father proud?

Just curious

I liked when Ian Punnet covered that story
I’ve mostly listened to random interviews on YouTube, and watched the documentary on Amazon.

Did he interview you about the Smiley Face killer?

I wish. :P I did a lot of interesting reading about it, Though. I can say with certainty that I am *not* the Smiley Face Killer. In case you were wondering.

Fully understandable.  Let it out, Zeeb.  If it's any consolation, it's Knapp with Paulides this Sunday.  Hang in there, furry one.

Love Paulides

I think the social media rants are her trying to create controversy, just to attract sympathy, and maybe a few new listeners.  She has done this before.  She is as phony as a 3 dollar bill.  She doesn't have an original thought in her head.  Why not post a picture of her and art in the studio, like a normal person would if their friend died?  Instead of a picture of a broken heart that someone else created that she found on google images.  It's just all phony baloney.   Here is the link where she got the picture:

When was this Area 51 excursion supposed to happen? Was an actual date set?

June, supposedly. No specific date or location to meet yet.

Freaks me out that I thought he was an "old guy" then and that now I'm nearly the same age.  I'm not sure if everyone feels like a 20~ year old no matter how many years go by or if I'm merely mentally retarded, but to me Art never felt so much like a peer as he did a vaguely warm, occasionally surly patriarch even when he was younger than me.

Some people are just that way.  I still have trouble hearing Jim Morrison and computing that as the voice of a kid in his early 20's.

My grandma was 82 when she died a couple of years ago. She said that in her mind, she seemed more like in her 30’s or 40’s.

MV doesn't want to increase the number of VD cases amongst BellGabbers just yet. We all need our implants first.

if you had said "4 string bass" it probably wouldn't have made it.

I happened to like my raw-dogging comment, but I guess it was too edgy for BellGab?
Sigh..

I had to put my cat of 18 years down in November. Losing fur babies sucks!
:( My oldest cat will be 18 in July. I’ll be devastated when she goes. Ugh.
Hugs to you.

I've just been informed BellGab is no longer allowed to exist.  It's been real, folks.

It’s the first time I’ve seen her use the word “family”. Suddenly it’s all about Arts family?

Think she will call in to tonight's Art Bell Memorial show and bitch out everyone?

Now, that's entertainment!

Telly
Hopefully she doesn’t drink. :(

As long as she doesn’t go full-on “raw dog”.  ;D

I don’t think so. His wife posted a sweet video of Art with their son the day after he passed.

On his FB? Does she have her own FB page?

Have any of Bell's wives or children made any public statements (either through broadcast, print, or social media) about his death?

When have they had a chance to? Heather’s been too busy doing it for them.
:/
