It seems to me that nothing was said that your having the opportunity to refute it wouldn't take care of.
1000% correct.

Did this thread decrease by about fifty pages? Hopefully, I'm not in some kind of GNS parallel universe.
no it didn't.  everything is still here.  what did happen was we increased the number of posts per page, thus decreasing the total number of pages.

my yellow lab rarely has poop problems.  if you live in the city (and by "city" i don't mean dayton, ohio) a yellow lab probably isn't for you... or any big dog, for that matter.

nicccccccccccccce.

yellow labrador... all the way.

some people poo-poo the exploration of ghostly matters on c2c, and PARTICULARLY the GIS people.  I DON'T GET THIS!!!  the GIS are EXACTLY what c2c is about, in my mind.  i've NEVER missed one of their appearances.  sadly, i think a couple of their appearances are missing from my archive.  it would be nice to find those shows.  i guess i could if i put the effort into it.

the Ghost Investigators Society is the only supernatural investigatory entity i've felt deserved absolute credibility.  they make ZERO money for what they do and they explicitly turn down all offers so they can maintain that credibility.  no others can say this... especially these hack groups on tv like the ghost hunters.  they proved themselves phonies on their live halloween special.  take a look at youtube for details.  the collar gag was atrocious.

i REALLY feel like these people are the best guests ever to have appeared on c2c.  many will disagree.  that's fine.  i'm convinced.

A question for EvB. Can you confirm that pm's are private and that admins or mods cannot and have not read any personal messages of registered members?
while there is no known way through the forum software for an admin to read somebody's private message (without, of course, changing a user's password and then accessing the account), it MIGHT be possible through the database.  not really sure.  the makers of this forum did a good job, tho, of assuring user privacy.  but, i say that in this digital age, don't assume privacy... no matter WHAT you're told.

Tonight's subject always reminds me of the old Bill Hicks line about the historical accuracy of the Kennedy Assassination Museum, especially the sixth floor window because........ Oswald isn't there.
HA!!!!!!!  LOVE bill hicks.

It sucks there are so many obstacles and drama standing in the way of having fun.

Looks like George has finally won.
sybil... that's the broader source of my frustration with where you're coming from here.  george has not won.  premrad has not won.  it's offensive that after having started this site and put my neck out there as long as i have you'd think i'm so easily bought like some heroin addict.  the website is not being sold to premiere.  it's just not.  you're not the only person in this conversation who would like to pass a BM on george noory and/or premiere radio.

Somehow, I think there is WAY more to this than you're letting on.  I find your timing very suspicious. We've been here 2 weeks now and you're selling out? It would have been nice to know you were intending on bailing once you got us all over here.

I feel like you're holding us and our private information(we aren't allowed access to delete it) hostage to be sold to the highest bidder.
i'd like to address a few of these points head-on now that i've had more time to think about it.

first, you can either take my word or leave it.  i don't know what it is about me that would inherently cause you to assign so little validity to what i say, but the reasons are what i've said they are.  i don't know what "timing" you're referring to, but if it has something to do with some sort of bullshit drama with glp or somebody who is involved over there, then you can COUNT on me having no idea what you're referring to.  to whom am i selling out?  there is a lot of presumption in that statement.

as is the case with most message boards, you do not have the right to go back in time (beyond a point) and start ripping out your posts arbitrarily.  if that were allowed, the whole place would be virtually unreadable because every time somebody left (and people do leave, as you know) they would rip huge chunks of the site out.  it would eliminate the context, flow, and readability of every thread from which that person removed messages.  it would make no sense to allow that.  at all.  and if you ever own a message board, you be well served to remember that.  the owner of any message board would be making a huge mistake to get backed into the corner of either never selling it to somebody, or allowing it to become a broken, unreadable mess so that he can sell it without people feeling violated in some strange way.  such an expectation is nothing short of unreasonable.

and to what private information are you referring?  your username?  your email addres?  the ip address from which you posted a message?  those are the only 3 things i can imagine you'd be referring to.  they hardly rise to the level of something over which anybody should be worried.  ok, MAYBE the email address if somebody wants to spam you, but that's it.  if that's your concern, my advice is to use gmail.  very little spam.  nobody here has your credit card number, your home address, your phone number, your mother's maiden name, or your ssn.  this forum software doesn't even allow an administrator to know your password.  if you're concerned with the content of your private messages, then delete them.  you DO have the ability to do that.  because, after all, they're private.  what you've posted in the broader body of the site is public, and therefore intended by you for viewing by all.  why should anybody be allowed to go back and delete all of that?  there would be no reason.

and the whole thing of "bailing" once i "got you over here..."  puh-lease.  i'm not obligated to you or anybody else for any reason.  at all.  again:  unreasonable expectations.

If I am in error, I apologize.
you are in error.  profoundly in error.  and i eagerly accept your apology.

you really want to know what the tipping point was?  this morning, i got an email from a member complaining (what else is new) about a guest from c2c being allowed to RESPOND in a thread to what people here had said about him.  this member informed me they were going to quit the site (again, what else is new) because it has become "another nighthawkzone."  and that was my tipping point.  i've just had it.  i have been dealing with that style of shit so much lately that it's left me feeling completely indifferent to all of it.

this has been coming for a while now, tho.  it's been building.

i must say that while i am not able to believe in the validity of channeling, i have to commend you for defending yourself in this thread.  most guests would never have the courage to do so considering the hostile nature of this environment.  you have my respect for that, regardless of any opinion i might hold concerning what you do or how you do it.

and today i did listen to your appearance on c2c.  i found it to be at least worthy of hearing out.

even a legal one?
nada.  not one since the whole thing was started in april 2008.

i once received a letter complaining about the art bell stream, but that's as far as my communications with them have ever gone.

we were always very careful around here to make sure we bitch slapped noory while NOT doing anything that could get us into any legal trouble.  thus, no letters.  what could they say (other than to blow smoke)?

Michael are you including the hosting account with this?  If I didn't have my own message board to run I'd seriously consider it.
you would need to get your own hosting account and then move all of the appropriate data over to it.  not that big a deal, actually.  i'm currently using hostgator.  they've been fabulous for the entire 3 years i've used them.  if you got a hosting account with them, it would be VERY easy for them to move the files over to your new account, all in-house.  and they'll do it for free.

and they're like $10 per month.

and btw, this whole thing apparently going on with starbrite... i have no idea wtf that's about or what's going on.  i've seen references to it here and there, but that's the scope of my knowledge on the situation.

and trinity?  i don't know who that person is.

I would be willing to pay for a membership here too, unlike the freakish pig-pen of GLP...I would pay even more than they were asking for a membership.
i appreciate the offer.  very gracious.  however, i decided a while back to keep things free and/or ad supported around here because i think it's a stretch to ask people for money just so they can post messages to a website.  in other words, it's essentially asking people to pay so that they can provide content on your website!!  haha, that sounds like a sweet deal from where i'm sitting, but i never wanted things to roll that way.  hell... we don't even have any ads on the site at the moment.  altruism aside, this site has probably not reached the level of activity necessary to even entertain the idea of charging people anyway.  that functionality is already built into this software, tho.  i hope the buyer will be somebody who chooses not to use it.  i think members would probably start dropping rather rapidly if that happened.

No one really knows the kind of dedication and time it take to keep a place like this operating!
that is the the ultimate truth!  it's a dedication that requires fixing everything when it breaks.  then if you don't know how to fix it, you have to embark upon a research project which sometimes can take hours.  and that's just the very TIP of the iceberg in terms of what you must deal with in running something of this nature.  it's just grown to become so tedious and i actually feel myself cringing when i look at my inbox to see what awaits me.

all i ever really wanted in life was a hot wife to bang after work.  ok, maybe i do want more than that, yeah... but now i'll have more time to spend on important things.

hardly.  in terms of the amount of time put into this endeavor and bills paid, i'd be astonished if i just broke even... which i won't.

i'm just done.  that's all it comes down to.

Who else but PremRad (or them in disguise) would be the "high bidder" I wonder?
who knows.  could be you

i WILL say that i've never heard a peep from premiere radio regarding the existence of this site.  ever.   i'd be shocked if they started now.
