Still working on the numbers for you, have a seat if you will and my lovely assistant will make you a drink.

Bro, did you miss my post? It's 11! ELEVEN! You have to factor the earth's rotation and divide by the distance a crow flies.

Hoagland would rule the mad max radioactive world. The braapsters would maraud in our thunder vehicles looking for cans of cocktail wieners for our dark lord. You're driving, I'm throwing grenades, Sandra's up on the roof with the machine gun kicking ass because we know that Hoagland will be interviewing Keith Laney back at the compound that night.

hey look its Sandra  ;D

I like it.  However, Keith Laney wouldn't survive...unfortunately.

He gets eaten after the interview.

Michio is an ass, too.  Another one like Richard Dolan.

Nuclear blasts. Would one mess up Hoagland's hair? Something tells me it wouldn't.
Thy faith is strong Brother SciFi. Thou art hereby raised to the office of Deacon.

Anyone ever watch the movie "Fail Safe"?

I guess it would be more of a live teleplay.  That was harrowing.  When the nukes went off and the phone lines melted.  That sound will never leave my head.

Wait, what?  What do they have in common?

How do nuke developers deal?  Hell, they make a bomb and they get paid.  It's not complicated, Art.

This show is silly.

James, do you believe shock television designed to grab ratings somehow *PROVES* your argument?

Spooky coincidence - Fallout 4 is coming out next month.

It's a game set in a post nuclear war world.

I once took a class, in college, about the Cold War and we watched that movie along with Dr. Strangelove. I actually enjoyed Fail Safe more as Strangelove's humor was a bit too silly for me.

They both think they have figured out everything in the universe.  Egos larger than planets.

Seems impossible to get rid of nukes.  As soon as a single state has one, pretty much everyone else needs them.  It's like guns .. once they're out there the only way to deal with is to make more.  Makes you long for the days of fist fights & slingshots.

No.  I'm not trying to make a point by posting that.  It's an HBO documentary that I thought some people might be interested in watching.  And it's right on topic with tonight's show.

Now can you please get the fuck off my ass?

once a weapon is designed it never goes away until a better one comes along
