I won't say Peyton is the greatest ever.  Frankly, I don't think any QB of the last 10-15 years anyway should be ranked as the best ever without a big asterisk.  These guys have been overprotected and not subjected to the wear and tear their predecessors endured.  I do think Peyton has been the best of the last quarter century career wise.  Brady has played on better teams, but it was really never a question in my mind who was the better QB.  Marino was the best young (first 2-3 years) QB of my lifetime- his 1984 is the greatest single season in that span in my opinion.  But he plateaued early in his career.  Everyone wants to say Brady is the greatest because of the rings, but if that's your criterion you have to go with Graham.

The lady who wrote this Black Eyed Kid Story called Coast last night and told the story.

Really?  I swear I was listening to Schrader's show last night ( Monday) and he read the same story on air.

Hebrews were blonde and blue eyed. 🙄

Everything done here to try to lessen any Jewish claim to Israel.

Didn't read that into it.  Early on they mentioned the kingdoms of Isreal (north) and Judah (south).  It was also mentioned that there were Jews of varying skin tone.

No mention of the Ethiopian Jews who claimed descent from Dan.

I was sorta expecting some mention of that as well.

So America wasn't named after Amerigo Vespucci (or whatever his name)?

Loving the subtle hints of anti-Semitism coming with this topic, with the suggestions that the British monarchy could have some claim to the House of David.

I think you really read too much into things.

Possibly the worst bumper music in the history of Coast to Coast AM.  Emerging artists sound enchanting by comparison.

Can we build a robot that trips on acid? This is not a frivolous question, according to neuroscientist Andrew Smart. If we can’t, he argues, we haven’t really created artificial intelligence. In the first half, he joins Richard Syrett to discuss how he's weaved together the largely forgotten world of psychedelic research with the resurgent field of conscious robots. Followed by historians Nelson & Wanda Thall who share their archaeological and mythological pursuit of the "Lost Ten Tribes."

Might be a pretty good show.  I don't share the level of interest in AI some here do, but this seems an interesting take on it.

Jeremy Corbell is the first hour guest.  Thought the name sounded familiar, and to my disappointment he's the guy I thought I remembered.  Perhaps the gent can't help it, but what an annoying voice he has.  Then a "mystery" guest (Nano Man) reveals his true identity.  Don't know that this one's going to be worth the jammies.

Literally, it has hardly snowed at all this year. There was a mild fall and then there was golfing in the Northeast during the Christmas Holidays. The fairways weren't even yellow, they were still bright green and some trees still had leaves.

Snow happens, usually 6 weeks ago. It's almost Feb and snow is long overdue.

I assume this comes from cable news networks. Snow of the Century every winter, then it's in Metro and all the other redundant spin rags filled with AP and reuters headlines, bullshit celebrities, and a crossword puzzle on the last page.

Truth.  The only Storm of the Century that actually was, to my memory anyway, was the March 1993 Superstorm.

"A lot of really horrific stuff has been said around here lately."

"Lately" goes back a ways you know.  The only thing that's changed is the target of the vitriol.  It's really not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.

2 idiots ruined your season.  From the looks of things at the end, if they hadn't some of the other morons standing around getting into it with Jerry Porter would have

The two idiots opened the door at the end.  But Jeremy Hill opened the driveway gate.  The Steelers aren't in that situation if Hill takes care of the ball.

Long time Bengals fan here.  Some of you are really making football out to be more complicated than it is.  The Bengals win that game if Jeremy Hill doesn't fumble with 1:36 remaining.

George said on Friday that his contract was good for another five years I thought.  We should have men on Mars by then I'm assuming.

As for Connie, that's pretty standard.  She's way too chatty.

What could be better on a Sunday night, the first of the year no less, than a Noory show about natural health and touchy feely bliss?  I can't decide if I'd rather listen to that or stick my pecker in a meat grinder.
