Was he fighting with the chimps or against the chimps? And was he talking actually chimps or being racist and calling blacks there apes? A lot of Orientals have bad attitude towards blacks and Africans so...? I'm guessing real primates turned soldiers by some weird mad-scientist.

I got the impression that they were Chimpanzee armed with machete's fighting for Idi Amin, which I guess means he as a Merc trying to topple Amin.

Indeed. He needs to talk about this more. Especially because he would be pretty young to be fighting as a merc in Africa against Idi Amin and his Chimpanzee Army.
