Former Colorado GOP chairman, Steve Curtis, charged with voter fraud. Sad. At least that's one Mike Pence won't have to worry about when he starts his investigation of the millions of other fraudulent votes any day now.

"The case is the only voter fraud investigation related to the 2016 election that has resulted in criminal charges in the state, the Colorado secretary of state’s office told Denver’s ABC affiliate."

This is a pretty clever concept, and when I first saw the one with Sheen I thought somebody had just found an old mugshot that looks like him.  There are some more here.

Very nice, long interview with Joel and the new SOL crew. Just a little more than three weeks until we have movie sign!

Brundlefly

That was my second thought, except I imagined it with Kirk and more like original version, ending with housefly Kirk stuck in the spider web desperately squeaking, "Help me, Spock."

This week's guests:

Tue Mar 21 - Ty Gowen and Carol Cleveland - Haunt ME

Carol Cleveland

I'm surprised her bio doesn't mention the considerable comedic talent she brought to her long association with Monty Python.

That's the first I've heard of her, and she undoubtedly would be better known if any of Mussolini's PR people had thought to bill her as The Florence Nightingale.

Iva Ikuko Toguri D'Aquino, aka Tokyo Rose

Although she really wasn't and never used that name on the air. She was actually an extraordinary woman who was the victim of an inexcusable miscarriage of justice and anything but a traitor. I hadn't known much about her before, and her story is well worth reading.

From the looks of it, he's lucky he'd already finished the ounce of blow he had at the beginning of the night.

"Actor Dennis Hooper was arrested by New Mexico police in July 1975 and charged with reckless driving, failure to report an accident, and leaving the scene. Hopper, 39 at the time, pleaded guilty to the charges and paid a fine."

And damn you for starting this thread, 21st! The last thing I need is another distracting shiny object.

A Diane Feinstein or a Hilary Clinton seeking office would have been unthinkable for the founders, and not because they are (supposedly) women.

Any side of the bed you get up on is the wrong one, isn't it? Flipping your mattress every so often might help with that.

This type of question makes me think I wouldn't use the transporters in Star Trek.

That was my first thought, because there's always the chance something like this could happen.

If I took one of your atoms away for a minute, then slipped it back where it was before, we can agree you'd still be you, right?  Now what if I blasted apart all your atoms at once, then painstakingly recombined them back perfectly as they were.  Still you?

Would that be in the finite or infinite universe?

From The Smoking Gun: "Actor Rip Torn was arrested in December 2006 in Westchester, New York and charged with drunk driving after his 1995 Chevy Cavalier collided with a tractor-trailer as he attempted to make a turn."

I wonder if only being able to afford an eleven-year-old Cavalier after a long, successful career had anything to do with this.

Showing that Time can be a total bitch, a fresh faced Nick Nolte forty years before his hideous shirt mugshot. You'll never guess what he was arrested for, and it was about the last thing I expected.

You have to be careful of fake mug shots that actors did for movies.  I was ready to post this one. Then I found out it was from Take The Money And Run.

There are quite a few good fake ones out there, including some hilarious ones that suggest the subject may have resisted arrest.  I was momentarily fooled one of Tom Hanks, but then immediately saw some others.

Love your avatar, Schlyder.  C, Aubrey Smith who graced many many Hollywood films in the 30's and 40's.  Knighted by the King in 1944.

He also was the inspiration for Commander McBragg. I about fell over the first time I saw him in a movie and saw the resemblance.

You assume that there are people on the other side of the wall.  There might very well be gods there.

Fair enough, and they might be giants, too, but the wall would still be there. I think.  ;D

If you head out far enough into space you will come across a massive brick wall.  Congratulations, you have just traversed the finite universe.  What's on the other side of the wall?  The infinite universe, of course.

But what would happen if the people who thought they were living in the infinite universe encountered the wall from the other side? And who paid for the wall? This is why I don't regret giving up LSD.

Not a celebrity, and said to be Photoshopped because her real name was Carol Andrews, but it's a great picture. She looks like she could be a character in an old John Waters movie.

Here's one, to start things off:  Which is harder to imagine ... A finite universe, or an infinite one?  Think about it.

I've given considerable thought to both, and all I can say is that it's one of the reasons I quit dropping acid years ago.

LOL.  Who could forget?  I was stunned that he actually felt the need to engage a prostitute what with him married to Liz Hurley at the time.  Plus he could have gone into a club and had his pick if he was that desperate.

I thought the same thing at first, but have to wonder if he just gets turned on by having sex in a car with street hookers. I think Yorkie has some experience with that, so maybe he can enlighten us.
