Three true crime tales are covered including the story of a teen who killed his parents so he could throw a party, a woman is brutally murdered by a mystery man while showing off real estate and the story of a woman who vanished after having car problems, only leaving behind a handful of bizarre clues.

Brody

http://culturecrossfire.com/etc/whorehouse-91-murders/#.V4jdrLgrLIV  This week's article covers the case of a Latino family that ran a whorehouse where the clients and the prostitutes had a habit of not coming out alive. It is not until the family's trial that the full extent of horrors is uncovered.

Another story tells of an ad in U.S. magazine that may have warned America of the Pearl Harbor attacks in 1941, and we close this week with some ghostly images that have been taken next to the sunken ships in Pearl Harbor.

Ah yes. The woman that lived next door to me is in prison with her boyfriend. They cooked their baby. On the stove. Or in the stove. Her older son, from a different father, stayed in house by himself afterwards, he was like 12, and he ended up setting the house on fire.

Good riddance. Now a family of feral kittens live there.

http://culturecrossfire.com/etc/man-wrongfully-executed/#.V5gAcbgrLIU My true crime article this week covers the story of a man who is sentenced to death for the crimes of the serial killer next door. I also look into the story of a woman who seemed to send strange messages from beyond the grave, and a young gal goes missing while off in the woods with a much older man. He blames a mythic creature on her disappearance...

Brody

http://culturecrossfire.com/etc/stalker-pics-on-cell-phone/#.V6ndz5grLIU

A woman finds an unknown man's image on her cell phone...can the police find her stalker before he finds her? Plus the story of a family hounded by threatening letters coming from an unknown source. Last up is a look at a miscarriage of justice as a judge refuses to admit video taped evidence of police abuse as valid for a criminal trial.

Brody

Brody

http://culturecrossfire.com/etc/man-eviscerates-girlfriend-rough-sex/#.V8mg5pgrLIU This week's article includes a look into the story of a man who claimed to accidentally kill his girlfriend during "rough sex" - the evidence suggests a far more violent angle. A young mother takes her son on a road trip. She ends up dead and he proves to be missing. Letters sent by the deceased only add to the mystery, along with several other clues that do not add up to a solution as to what truly happened to the child.

A slew of stories this week include a Jane Doe whose DNA test results shock investigators. Then a look at a party in Russia that ended in rape and cannibalism. A seven-year old cold case warms up after Taquan Brown, a prison inmate serving 25 years for manslaughter in an unrelated case, told investigators he personally witnessed what happened to Brittanee, saying she was kidnapped, gang-raped, pistol-whipped and shot dead by a several men led by Da’Shaun Taylor of McClellanville.

And what Britanee’s abductors are said to have done with her body after killing her is gruesome beyond belief: Investigators believe her body was dumped in a swampy area teeming with alligators.

On May 5, 1977, police were called to the apartment that 20-year-old Gregory Canatis shared with his 41-year-old father, Theodore. They found the apartment empty and covered in blood. When they went to the kitchen, they found parts of a body in a skillet, hands in the freezer, and human muscles in the refrigerator. Hours later, they found Gregory outside and brought him to the police station. When he was asked why he ate his father, he said he didn’t want to waste “good meat.” When they asked him what the meat was like, he said that it was good and that it reminded him of steak. Canatis was diagnosed as a schizophrenic and committed to a psychiatric hospital without being tried for the murder. The murder charge was eventually dismissed in 1980. In 1995, he was released for a short time and held a job as a grocery bagger. When the district attorney heard that Canatis had been released, he threatened to charge him again with the murder, so Canatis returned to the hospital.

On May 5, 1977,

I fingered your sister. Also, she was a lame babysitter. I'm prepared to forgive, though.

Siberian prisons have always been known to be brutal places. In 1903, it was reported that four men had escaped from a prison on the island of Saghalien. Eventually, two of the men were recaptured.

What happened to the other two escapees? They were eaten.

The men did not have enough supplies to survive the trek through the cold, so two of the men agreed to attack and kill the other two. They drank their victims’ blood, cut their meat into strips, and laid the strips in the snow to freeze. When the men were captured, they still had some of the frozen strips of meat.

Page views didn't warrant the time I spent on the articles.

ttp://murderpedia.org/male.A/a/albright-charles.htm

In 1981, after his mother died, while Albright was visiting some friends, he sexually molested their nine-year-old daughter. They reported him and he was prosecuted. He pled guilty and received only probation. He later claimed that he was innocent but had pled to avoid a hassle.

In 1985, Albright met a woman named Dixie, in Arkansas. He invited her to come live with him and it wasn't long before she was paying his bills and supporting him. Charles took a 'paper route' in the early morning, apparently to visit prostitutes without raising his wife's suspicions.

December 13, 1990 - Mary Lou Pratt, 35, a well-known prostitute in the Oak Cliff neighborhood (in Dallas). Her body was found lying face-up. She was wearing only a T-shirt. She was shot in the back of the head with a .44-caliber bullet. The medical examiner discovered that this killer had removed both eyes without making much of a mark on the eyelids, and apparently had taken them with him.

February 10, 1991 - Susan Peterson, a prostitute, was found nearly nude, with her T-shirt pulled up to display her breasts in the same manner as Pratt. She'd been shot three times: in the top of the head, in the left breast and point-blank in the back of the head. One bullet had pierced her heart and another entered her brain. A clump of her hair lay on her chest. She had been dumped in south Dallas, just outside city limits, and the medical examiner found that this victim bore another grisly similarity: her eyes had been surgically removed.

March 18, 1991 - Shirley Williams, a part-time prostitute, was found naked, lying on her side near a school, with her eyes removed. Williams also had facial bruises and a broken nose, and she had been shot through the top of her head and in the face.

March 22, 1991 - After the murder of Shirley Williams, witnesses came forward and told police about Albright. He was arrested in his home.
