I just heard (for the umpteenth time) some law office, who I won't name, that advertises frequently on the AM radio and expressly to "serve men in divorce." And was reminded of Allred who only seems to take on female clients (the more high-profile the incident the better.) Why should lawyers be allowed to discriminate? And why shouldn't a lawyer, provided the client can pay, be forced to accept any client? How can a law-firm, or lawyer, claim to want to only represent a certain gender? Why do some cities have special offices only to deal with GLBT or Women's Issues? Shouldn't they help out everyone? Tax-payer money being spent SPECIFICALLY on only certain people and not on others. Discrimination. Why are specialized legal defense funds that only take certain cases legal? All of this discrimination! Things like legal defense is far more important than eating a cake (for anyone regardless of gender or sexual behavior.)

I assume you refer to Cordell & Cordell. If so, I can assure you from personal knowledge that they don't only represent men in divorce. Nor does Gloria Allred only represent women. Of course lawyers and legal firms may specialise in the law as it applies to LGBT or women's issues, as lawyers specialise in entertainment or immigration. Being known as an expert in a particular field does not in any way constitute discrimination against people not interested in that field. That's just a ridiculous suggestion.
