Quote from: 21st Century Man on January 27, 2016, 05:36:40 AMHahaha. Jorch's favorite month of the year is almost here.
Noory was talking about the Alien Snowfest in Big Bear that he will be at along with Stanton Friedman in FEB. That's right. He said FEB. At least he knows his limitations unlike Tricky Dick Hoagland.
Quote from: trostol on January 26, 2016, 07:22:31 PMSssssh! In the next episode, we discover Skinner has a stalker and he's going incognito.

Quote from: Showroom Dummy on January 26, 2016, 05:58:37 PMYes, like "The Thing" playing on the TV in "Halloween." Man messing with apes, apes messing with Man. Just throw in aliens and stir.
ok episode 2 freaked me out ......those kids -also reminded me of the old days of x files which i liked -i enjoyed it very much =
loved escape of planet of the apes on the TV in psych ward
Quote from: SciFiAuthor on January 26, 2016, 04:53:48 PMListen to the dolphin, Skinner.
Just watched the second one. I have to say, they've nailed this as well as was possible I think. It has the right mix of the original theme, the "feel" is right, a nice mix of story arc and monster of the week episodes, it's not a reboot but rather just some time has passed, everything seems right. Sure, the actors are older but I'm fine with that.
With the monster ratings the show is getting, I can't imagine Fox won't order more episodes.
I am not fine with Skinner's beard though. Men who shave their heads should simply not sport unanchored beards.
Quote from: Kolchak on January 26, 2016, 04:19:03 PMOr potential stalkers. I'm sure she's been cautioned.
If nothing else, this hosting gig has opened up a floodgate of potential suitors for Heather.
Quote from: whoozit on January 26, 2016, 02:01:54 PMDon't mess with MV.
I asked MV that last week. Not anytime soon I fear.

Interesting how in a matter of weeks this thread has gone from unbridled anticipation and pure enjoyment to some sort of terminal, dystopian nonsensicalness.
Quote from: malachi.martini on January 26, 2016, 01:39:43 PMYes, it reminded me of that old guy who used to host MITD keeping his intro music.
...Love that they kept the intro the same.

Quote from: Roswells, Art on January 25, 2016, 10:36:01 PMThe only appropriate cake for The King.
Thank you for your service. I wish I could make you a cake.
Quote from: The King of Kings on January 25, 2016, 10:16:46 PMThanks, Art!
Being The King of Kings here at bellgab has not been an easy road.
As the first person to courageously question the authenticity of the Art Bell narrative, it put me under enormous pressure. The vile and hurtful comments hurled at me would have sent anyone weaker than myself into a tailspin and a possible sufferer of PTSD. I knew in my heart that what I was saying and what I was fighting for was an important goal, the pursuit of truth.
Now that the tide had turned and I have been able to open so many eyes to this incident, please take some time out of your day to thank me for being on the front lines of this issue.
Your Friend,
The King of Kings
Quote from: Value Of Pi on January 25, 2016, 09:48:24 PMThe question then becomes "will Art EVER catch some ASS?"
Let me diplomatically suggest referring to the "stalker" as the "alleged stalker." Since we're all too lazy to type that, I would go with ASS for Alleged Stalker Someone.
Nobody has to change their minds or beliefs about the ASS and it gives us some common ground to agree upon. I was never a community organizer but I thought I'd try a different approach.
Quote from: transistor under my pillow on January 25, 2016, 09:23:33 PM"I am there for yeeewww, Scully! Lady in Red...."
....And she could benefit from eating a few sammiches. Scully is skeletal.
Quote from: trostol on January 25, 2016, 07:32:49 PMGrowing old is a bitch but I'll still take it. Looks like next week is a monster episode. I'm enjoying it.
maybe thats it..still..sort of bugs me lol
Quote from: Ciardelo on January 25, 2016, 05:44:45 PM"That's true!'
"No brainer" I hate that one.
Usually what follows is something that the speaker doesn't want to explain. For example "The US Government is conspiring to kill us all, it's a no brainer really." Or "sure, we trust the centralized banking system, it's a no brainer."
Quote from: Étouffée on January 25, 2016, 05:05:32 PMYes, sir! Glad the ratings were good. Of course, Fox was planning for the NFC game to boost viewership. The game was such a blow-out, and with a late start for the Files, it may have hurt more than helped the ratings. Looks like there's still plenty of fans out there.
Just hearing that opening theme and knowing a new episode of X-Files was about to begin was...
thrilling.
Quote from: GravitySucks on January 25, 2016, 10:31:29 AMYes, this is true. I confess to being an oyster stalker.
She should at least hold out until May. Everyone knows that stalkers only come out in months that have an "r" in them.
Quote from: Ciardelo on January 25, 2016, 02:16:59 PMSir, this IS BellGab. )
No need to be so defensive. It seems some of the folks here are just spoiling for controversy. smh.
We can't even discuss a show here most of the forum likes without arguing? :
Quote from: Ciardelo on January 25, 2016, 01:50:04 PMI've had a life and found it highly overrated. I can only dream about reaching the lofty rank of FaceBook membership.
Me too. Last night was a solid refresher. I didn't go back and watch the old ones and I still feel all caught up now.
I think the lukewarm reviews were from people who can recite impossibly small details from the series like what was the color of the smoking man's coffee cup in episode 3.01.
But for a guy who never really watched it that much/has a life it was just fine.
Quote from: munbeam666 on January 25, 2016, 01:24:01 PMYes, but it was just for Lucias, only.
were you guys wearing dirty underwear?
Quote from: FightTheFuture on January 25, 2016, 01:42:39 AMHa! He does sound like he should be hosting a Saturday horror show. Maybe the new MST3K could use him.
Mr Nano sounds like Dr. Morgus.
OR...Paul Giamatti with a bad head cold
