I just stumbled upon the OTA My Network TV channel carrying the original X-Files.  Two shows each Tuesday night and a rebroadcast of one of the Tuesday night shows on Saturday night.  Nice warm-up for the new 2018 episodes.

Last night's episode was better than 2018's first.  It was good to see Langly again, even if it was just on a smartphone and where "Heaven" is eating hot dogs and donuts all day long, the Ramones are there... and they don't fight!

If they were going to resurrect anything X-Files related it should have been "The Lone Gunmen!" I do not give a rats-ass about Scully & Moulder past season six! And season six was just out of habit. The entire show really only lasted five seasons. Season 3 and 4 were outstanding though!

Pretty much dead on.  Anderson says this is it.  Fine by me, she's in the cranky old bitch mode with no payoff worth it anyway.  Like most things, they should have just left it with the original episodes.  It's like stumbling through a TV version of Dark Matter and MiTD.  Surprisingly, Mitch Pileggi still looks and sound pretty good.  Duchovny looks and sounds haggard and past his prime.  No surprise there, right, Harrison?

Do you remember when Duchovny was the host for Zalman King's Red Shoe Diaries?  He thought he was the shit then with his nasal voice.  God knows why King picked him to be the host. Show had some nice kink to it at times though.
