i was just kidding about him dying.

I'll allow an immortal pate. Sounds like a gas.

I can't wait until MV gets pissed next month and starts his new websites wadegab and redactedgab followed by Eddie Dean and Pony boy sunset gab. A word of warning though MV before you change the name of Bellgab make sure Art is not going to transmit from the other side in another year it is strongly rumored he has a non  compete with Evelyn Paglini.

Plot twist: What if my objective is to bring Art back to the radio?

Also, what will the GabCast be named after the transition?

The StacheCast? Not really sure.

he said he is genetically predisposed. i was just kidding about him dying.

As I recall, I said that my family comes from a region in Louisanna (earliest grave in the family cemetery dates to the 1580s or something) nicknamed "Cancer Alley."  I did not mean to say that I was genetically disposed to cancer.  There are a bunch of refineries down in the area around NOLA and Baton Rouge, and the incidence of cancer for people that live there is a bit higher than elsewhere in the states.  While my genetic stock comes from the area, I have spent my entire life in and around the Kansas City area.

I don't have the lifetime exposure to whatever "environmental" stuff is causing the higher than normal incidence of cancer in that area.  Also, the incidence of cancer in my family that still does and has lived down there is very low.  I can think of one confirmed case, and there is one suspected case (not confirmed, didn't die of cancer and there was no real indication post-mortem) in my family of cancer.

What I was trying to say, while highly intoxicated was that I believe I am genetically in-disposed to cancer.  Not to say that I am cancer-proof, but the family genetics seem to indicate that I (both paternally and maternally) have a strong resistance to cancer even when exposed to toxic environments.

In short, the Nazis would not have exterminated me.  I am ubermann!  Superior genetics, etc.

These are my top suggestions...

The -p Institute for Advanced Georgenoorian Studies (Thanks Rush)
“I agree”, with George Noory (rhymes!)
G.N.@Cast (sound it out... GnatCast)
GNorCast (like “forecast”)

and finally...

Chasing Noory

By the way, I accidentally used my phone to check BellGab while connected to my work’s WiFi... I got an angry message on my browser that BellGab is a malicious website.

The Jungle will make you cry. Upton Sinclair is like the John Steinbeck of the Czechs.

CS Lewis is lovely though.

Why the long face, Roz?

I was joking when I nominated MD for BellGabber of the year, I didn't think ObL! would actually do it.

Maybe the new GabCast will cheer you up?

I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that.

And I appreciate the suggestions.

I would exclude the Politics section from that assessement.  It's obviously more mellow and sedate than the radical and maliscious Bella-Haven hovel.

Hey man, I hope things are well for you and yours.

I go to the UFOSHIP.com site, click on Gabcast, then scroll down, then click on this "This is the RSS feed for The GabCast."
And get many pages of this"<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><rss version="2.0"

I used to be able to click on those RSS links and download that specific episode directly.  The 12 October and the 2 November episodes are missing RSS links entirely, the 12 September episode does have the links, but come up with the gibberish displayed above.

I am trying to get some of these newer episodes onto a memory stick so that I can listen to the episodes on a laptop that doesnt have internet access.

Not sure when. But possibly tomorrow (Saturday) night? And I think if dps were interested in being on, he would have called in at some point over the last five years.

I could make it. My microphone setup is pretty shit right now tho--if that would even matter.

I assume that schlub is someone's alt, or someone who shares an account, or both. In any case, the better choice, if the handler's permission can be obtained. I'm tepid.
