All of the entertainment industry's awards shows have been politicized.

I'm not watching them anymore until they put a lid on the political rhetoric.  Just today there is a story about how the Grammy producer is encouraging political statements against Trump on tonight's show.

I guess the shows aren't interesting in broadening their viewership anymore.  I haven't watched the Grammys in years but I used to love watching the Academy Awards.  I quit that too a few years back as I'm simply tired of all the political bs that goes on.  Is it too much to ask  for these shows to be entertaining without political commentary?

I agree. However in the current climate it is likely going to increase. I never watch awards ceremonies anyway; not my thing. I don't need someone to be given a gong for me to form my opinion on if they were good at their job. And a gong for a film doesn't make it good. Lord of the rings was the most overated dogs breakfast I had the misfortune to sit through. But, that's me.

I know the climate is probably going to get worse.  It saddens me because I do love music and movies but I just can't take it anymore.

Hollywood should concentrate more on decent acting and making good movies.  Maybe we wouldn't have so much crapola on the screen these days.  Leave selecting our leaders to the people.  I didn't hire Hollywood to be my spokesman.

It's all about having access to a microphone and toeing the leftist line.

Lol, these Hollywood cucks acting like I give a shit about their political beliefs. I don't. Shit; if Katy Perry bends over in front of me (minus panties) then I might consider listening while inside her. Because I'm a firework and sheeit.

I think im the only person that thinks Katy Perry is ugly... America used to have the best pop stars, the best cars, the best movies and now it's all gone.... The Asians have taken everything we used to make and made it better.

Need some 4chan translation.   I just pulled a "Top fucking kek" comment on something I posted that I thought was rather nifty.

Does that mean I did good or is the guy berating me?   I honestly don't know.

There is always TCM, MeTV, Movies!, GritTV, COZITV, RetroTV, and youtube, torrents, and DVDs. Plenty of old stuff I still haven't seen or would rather watch again than most of the crap Hollywood is putting on tv or film these days. I didn't mind the recent Star Wars but wasn't obsessing after them. The only really good movie I would recommend this year was "Hell or High Water" though admittedly I haven't gone to see many of the movies put out this year.

Maybe they have not been politicized enough. I like this woman's suggestion. I would watch it if they did this.  ;)

Take heart, mates, there'll be a country music awards show in no time.
Plenty of rhetoric to make you tap your foot in agreement.
And maybe D'Souza's got another thriller in the works.

>imagine listening to Billy Eyelash

New American pop music is horrible.

I can't believe that a few million people bothered to tune into the awards. Who the hell cares?

As for Ms. Eyelash- I'm happy to say that I ignore pop culture to the point where I had never heard of her... But 725 million youtube views tells me that she's popular with kids. This music is the exact reason that downloads are good. Why bother committing that garbage to vinyl? Who is going to want to play it in a decade?

Well... It's an improvement. The rhythm @ 1:22 is familiar. Either I have heard this song in the background somewhere, or the only catchy part was lifted from a move, a video game, or another song...

pate

I heard this one got a Grammy*:

A bit of an ear-worm, noticed a bit of political over-tone in it I guess.  I like to replace their lyrics with my own, mainly "Yaba-daba-do!" and whatever else I can recall of the Flintstone's theme song...

I sort of like it actually.

Will watch the video for the first time after this message posts and decide if I still like it.

Ha!  I'd never heard of "it," either.  Check out this Bieber/Sheeran cuck crap.  It's like an out-take from some little kids' TV show.

Nice job, leftists, for totally neutering young males.
