Man oh man am I lovin the way this season is starting for the Blackhawks. 10-1 & 5-1. Getting both Patrick Sharp and Brandon Saad back was great with Hossa on long term injured reserve. Both are going to get some points this year. I am a little worried about the depth of the defenseman but Keith and Seabrook are two of the best.

Crawford looks solid in the net so far.

Ridiculous. We have hybrid sticks of crazy technology, dare I say "nano"- check them out in sport! Ok, I get that viewers are weaker and not old school so a slash against a player should still be sanctioned. But, hell, check it out 'for the greater good' on sticks. I like defense and old school. I would also argue hands, considering state of medical knowledge and tech of gloves (and player who modify them to their, possible, better handling but more exposure, but understand this is not socially acceptable.
