Whether you like him or not, Ian is the best open lines host after Art.

I agree the Fr. Martin shows were some of the best. I also heard Art interview Willie Nelson for several hours one night and to this day I think it was the best interview I've ever heard.
Quote from: Ruteger on November 16, 2010, 07:11:33 PMfunny putting Noory and Obama in the same sentence as intellectual peers
I like Mark Levin. As a Conservative, I agree with alot of what hey says. Yeah, he gets over-excited, but I think that is a marketing gimmick to differentiate himself. And I do admit it puts me off. Is it sincere? Not sure. But has anyone read "Liberty and Tyranny"? An excellent book. You will not get that level of intellectualism from Noory, Obama, or anyone else.

He is just boring. I can't tell the difference between him and NorMAN GoldMAN (emphasis his).
The only progressive radio talk-show host I can tolerate is Thom Hartmann. He is smart, engaging, and entertaining.
Quote from: haloedorchid on March 17, 2011, 12:37:51 PMColmes is great, he takes on all callers and has excellent, informed opinions and is fun to listen to. Ring of Fire is also a very good radio show btw, in my opinion.
Hannity isn't on any of the AM stations around here, but Colmes plays on the weekend, and his show is terrible. Not to get too off-topic, but they did (do?) have a show together.

I'm not sure if she still has her radio show, but I liked it the couple of times I listened. On the local station here, her show always played at odd times so it was easy to miss. I liked her style, though, and she has a fantastic speaking voice.
Quote from: b_dubb on April 18, 2011, 10:29:20 AMI think Bigfoot must be involved in abiotic oil in some way..that being said, George Knapp is by far my favorite host, actually the only I listen to now. I like that he doesn't turn the interview into an argument as Ian sometimes does, and he really knows his music, I always learn something after listening to him. When I listen to GN, I feel like I'm getting dumber by the second.
abiotic oil is a petroleum like substance that oozes from the earth and is made from the remains of unicorns that were smooshed by giant dragons living at the core of the earth. it's almost as rare as a-idiotic radio host
