I don't know if this confirms it, but my friend at Princeton said the Eggs think it's Dave Schrader.

I doubt it. He would be as old as Art

Makes sense.  At least to Heather. What better way to carry on Arts legacy, than to host a show he created..... OH WAIT!

Seriously though. If that is true, she really thinks she's becoming Art. Jesus.   The transformation is complete.....

“How can we use your chat room without a computer?”  GNS fan

The one woman asked a similar question in May 1997. Art said use webmail to sign-up, Keith said webmail domains were currently declined.

Clark County handles Nye County autopsies.  I presume the ME is Clark's as well.

If the decedent had not been in a doctor's care for 2 months, an autopsy is required.  Doesn't matter if he had a tumor the size of a football on his throat, they do an autopsy...

Maybe it's the old mafia stuff, maybe insurance money murders, maybe assisted suicide concerns, whatever the reasoning behind it is, that's the rule in Nevada.
Not always so, somebody in his condition, especially since his hospitaztion, and DX of COPD, he would have to have a personal doctor. I bet more then one that treated his COPD/lung specialist, cardiologist, and a reg gp only because the spec won't prescribe for anything else other then the specific deal they treat. So in order for Art to get regular Rx prescribed each month whether the Rx is made for more than a single month or they require regular office visits, tests ect. It is the nature of the beast today.

So again I say he had a regular, maybe team of docs who treated him regularly. If there is, no matter of false play seen, cops call dr and he says oh very sorry, we knew this was coming. Some doc'c come to see others knowing the patients condition just talks to the ME who does and most visit to see body, and the crime scene guys are poking around, take pix. The Scene most be preserved. Now if the cops say if you guys and everyone else family,, dr, ME etc have no objections it's ok we are willing to let the attending physican sign the death certificate since we all know this was the predictable way it would turn out, why upset the family with an unneeded autospy.
And everything else that goes with it?
You see it all depends on the sharp eyes, experience, inspection of the scene, questions of family, friends, and dr's. In big cities police see so much death and dead people we kind of get the idea when funny business is in play. You get that feeling, that doubt or that hunch or gut feeling...then we dig.
In this case what was the point to dig??????

Yeah no bloated flash apps or stupid auto-play videos, just simple text/pic blocks w/ maybe a few rotating icons!  Good times man.

Heather is now teasing being able to put jumper music in downloadable archives. That’s a huge expense that Art couldn’t even afford.

Heather has no respect for the law and believes she's above it. Just like using the MITD name and "invading" Area 51, she'll do whatever she wants and dare them to sue her.

Keith has lawyers on retainer. Does Joe Nobody? And, if he does, would he really shoulder the cost of a prolonged legal battle for this woman?

According to NYE County Sheriff's Office they said the following on their facebook page regarding an autopsy on Art,  "Any unattended death is sent for an autopsy. Required by statute."

Here is more fuel to add.  I don't think Schrader is the new host because he has an account here and it hasn't been active for 2 months.  Surely he'd be lurking I would think.  Maybe he is logged out but I don't think he's sneaky to lurk like that.

Nice to see you back, PI.  To answer you question, you got most of it. Keith has a new host for Monday but as yet we do not know who it is though many here think it is Dave Schrader.  I don't think the money is good enough for Schrader.

Ah, 21, greetings and felicitations. You're looking like a new man. I had to drop by when I heard about Art. Seems like nothing changes whether he's in this world or the next. The eternal quest continues.

Hate to say it but I'm as skeptical about all this as I was when Art quit MITD. Unless someone is willing to put up the bucks to get a viable show up and running, it's just a pure miracle that Keith finds somebody with talent willing to work for peanuts.

I mean, has anybody really made this internet radio/subscriber model work successfully? Who knows but we might have a better shot of getting the show we want from someone like Sirius/XM. Granted, that didn't work out with Art. But at least they have the cash to fund a quality niche show and build an audience. Maybe Keith should consider talking to them again -- if that bridge isn't totally burnt.

I think Heather is the Bobby Blotzer of Internet radio. This guy was the drummer for RATT. I almost didn't know RATT even had a drummer. Apparently he was not even the original drummer, and he had almost no writing credits, zero in the band's heyday. RATT has several albums but only ever had one popular song, and that was in 1984.

Anyways. Bobby was expelled from the business partnership and so he started a new band, and called his band RATT too and used the same logo! During this time there were no less than 3.5 versions of RATT who were all touring separate from one another. The other versions of RATT all merged together to create a more definitive and almost classic version of the band.

At one point Bobby was given a cease and desist by a judge but continued to use the name and logo anyways. Currently there are just the 2 versions of the band but Bobby's moniker has since been modified/extended although his promoters still just book him as RATT. Both versions of the band are doing the county fair and pawn shop circuits. Members of the real RATT have chosen not to enact on the judge's order because they suspect that Bobby is mental and actually needs serious institutional help.

This has been a crazy soap opera on Blabbermouth the past 2-3 years and it is comedy gold.
