I went to Catholic school in the 60s and we had young, liberal lay teachers as well as the nuns (penguins) and I can't imagine any of them doing something like this. They introduced us to philosophy and logic as well as the regular curriculum. I will always be grateful for the education I received from them.

I wasn't educated in a religious order but had the same sort of liberal arts education and have a lot of fond memories and respect for most of those liberals but today's liberal has gone totally insane.
