After what transpired with the whole MITD fiasco, I concluded Art's delusional ego and geographical isolation created a sort of self imposed echo chamber...this just seems like more evidence of that...

What's weird is the two original articles cite this happening on Savage's Sept. 25th show but that was on a Sunday when Savage is off and there's no trace of that show anywhere online.

I listen to Savge on occasion and heard him make those remarks.  They were just like in the article.  I cannot remember the date other than a couple of months ago.  To be honest it made me chuckle at the time but I then forgot about it 5 minutes later.  IIRC Savage was making a point about subjects on his show and saying he didn't want to go to far out into fringe topics and stick with things he cared about.  Sounds like Art has a bit of a bad rep in the industry.  I wonder why?

I believe Art wants to "retire" again.  To do so, he must stage another comeback.  I'm guessing that in order to continue his move down the broadcast food chain, he will begin a new show called "Hey, Good Buddy" and broadcast over CB radio. Truckers and lot lizards will be the primary audience.  Art and Heather can call each other to help fill the dead air.

I would like to again thank some of the Titan's of the Broadcast Industry who have already offered help in saying they understood instantly who Savage meant in his awful so called, in the Broadcast Industry joke.
