Thanks!
I wanna say I heard him interviewed somewhere? Or clips? Somewhat hard to understand. And with the vastly connected conspiracy theory even more so, so would've been a long format show. Was it on Timpone, Syrett, Rense, RedIce, or some place? I doubt C2C or Alex?

RCH had shows! He must be exhausted. Two nights in a row! Not sure what the heck was talked about. A lot of drawings, "renderings," rotations, filtering ("not understood by non-experts") and fitting a "model." "We are raising spectre of nuclear war to ignore the politics up there!" Secret codes even! "Distinctions without a difference." General Armageddon was just appointed by Putin! This was fallowed by disputed claims by expert guests and angry RCH.

Happy Thanksgiving to our friends in the Great White North! Happy Columbus Day to our Eye-tie friends, though Leif was first we shouldn't ignore Columbus. After all there are theories about him, like K_dubb would call 'code' or 'dog whistles.' And Celebrate our Indigenous Peoples Day, though I have some reservations about it, since they also came over, albeit a bit earlier. Celebrate all those hard working people, myths, and theories by shutting down post offices, banks, work places, and schools! Maybe also tear down or, at minimum, cover up some statuary.  Because I note most places open, except the usual suspects in the public sector who need the break. And banks, who take hours and holidays at every chance they got because a captured market.

It's Putins fault for starting the war. That makes it pretty nice and removes all responsibility for the consequences of our actions from us.

It's funny. I recall hitting a kid in grade one and saying "but he started it." Didn't work out too well for me. But it's believed by millions if a senile senior citizen says it.
Like in hockey or a street fight. It is normally the retaliation that is noticed that gets you into the sinbin or jail. Though with all cameras, replays, and all the kids on Chicom tiktoks this might be changing. There also is even the more basic  rhetorical plays on words on accusations and deflection. It is funny, but not hah, that these are used in international politics with serious consequences. Maybe we should go back to "sticks and stones....but words will never hurt me?" I think Biden might want to be the teacher to wash out mouths with soap and tell all parties "I will not mention certain tribes, deals, or corruption. I will not mention historical feuds and resentments. I will not mention Democrats started a Civil War and supported Black Codes, Jim Crow, KKK, and slavery. And the only Hunter to mention is an awesome tv show" a 100 times and they make us all bang them to clean the blackboard erasers. Luckily in his addled state he would forget and we all could go home as the clock hits 3. Or, maybe Two Minutes to Midnight.

I saw Jackie Mason on the street looking in a window getting bitched at by his wife. "Come on..." Hilarious. Poor guy was bested and looked verbally battered. Sad. You guys predefine your perfect evil conservative and then claim anyone who disagrees with you on anything is that. It's beyond pathetic. 🙄

I will address the Elephant in the Room, like an old joke, that involved rabbis I think, searching around and describing said animal. Like much in life, is not always, simply black and white. Some now should appreciate the 'non-binary' position1 Haha. Different tribes, sects, and areas, though, in general, have some common-ground and interesting rules, almost evolutionary. Almost Beyond the Pale! Not saying stupid or not clever! There are disputes but even the basics was revolutionary, often a good thing even, maybe, but the idea of matrilineal lines of descent was an interesting adoption. Seen in some other areas in Africa even- "hey, we got some lost Tribes?" Good luck on that right of return! But, sometimes, call a Spade a Spade, and when obvious call them out. But, I think, the beauty of it all is the ultimate hypocrisy on all created "sides." What did He call some of them? I forget. Haha. Some kind of new synagogue of someone?

Agree. I don't know why I had questions. But, still, sand, versus sawdust, dirt, old hay, etc cause me questions. You sandblast stuff, not use dirt or sawdust, and it more shifty, you got (if on beach) the actions of water. I would like to go to Pendleton and the Stampede up in Calgary. We used to have prison rodeos here, but, for whatever reason, they have been curtailed. Still have the normal ones. Not sure why the prison ones stopped. Especially because we got more 'bad hombres' who likely could do well. I guess they are in Martha's Vineyard- play on sand!

Yeah. I don't know why I was surprised. Clearly horses run around in sand, deserts, brush, mountains, etc. But still, seemed weird rodeo on a beach.

The Roman Concrete is amazing. There are still some mysteries behind it. Theories abound. I've heard that some of our Nordic friends used to mix horse hair and blood in concrete. But the Romans being unreinforced and ability to build (and last!) is matter of constant research. The precise mixes, quality of the water, etc- note that this is also controversial because cinder-blocks and using fly-ash from evil coal is modernly used but some have issues with it.

Or everyday in a place like NYC or places in Cali. I got an email today. They are holding a rodeo on the beach in Cali. Very curious how that works. Running on sand is hard, though horses do on the East Coast (but they are small ones) but with riders and barrel racing, roping, etc on sand? That sounds like some French, Belgians, or BLM glue-factories are looking for product. Arabians are sand-based and they are prized runners but still seems weird and they different events. But, thinking, I guess really horses should be fine. Or hope so.

The 'crazy' ideas about building vast canals and pipelines for water is now being bandied about, decades later, by some people. Not sure it will go anywhere but, even at the time, it seemed logical idea when we have so much flooding and ice-dams etc periodically but droughts in other areas. Both of which nail our food supply- having too much water and not enough. A more integrated, vast system than the usual reliance on local dams and such. It isn't a new idea but not just 'big dams' like Middle-East and China style but a system to move the water, like we do gas and oil over longer areas than just the stuff in LA etc but take it from the upper MidWest and down. And so on, maybe even Great Lakes or Canada.

ps: this also allows me to quote one of my favorite political quotes ever:
"The Leesburg Garden Club is a nest of Soviet fellow travelers clacking busybodies in a Soviet jellyfish front, sitting here in Leesburg oozing out their funny little propaganda and making nuisances of themselves."

Like Econ-101. Guns or Butter? Of course simplistic and artificially binary but used to teach basics. But in reality both industries are so subsidized, regulated, and controlled it is actually amazing! Oleo wars! Price controls! And so it goes. But, apparently, bad news for bakers and eaters come winter.

"butter makers in the Midwest say "spot loads of cream are very tight to unavailable" and "in the Northeast, retail butter demand is picking up, but tight inventories are causing some producers to regulate supplies across existing orders," according to the report."

These ethics, where you can do what you want privately as long as you uphold public piety (i. e. hypocrisy) are the sophistry that allowed Evangelicals to embrace Trump.  And Putin, for that matter, who has courted American Evangelicals for years as a defender of traditional values.

Quote from: K_Dubb on October 08, 2022, 04:43:19 PMLOL you mean like rainbow flag on everything that is alphabet people?

I disagree; LGBT (with which I have some issues) is booming but it is just fallout from the collapse of traditional marriage over the past century, you guys like to focus on the ripples and eddies spiraling away from the giant implosion rather than face the fact that you can't hang on to your wives and don't really like them all that much when you do.  Kids see and are like gross.  Given the absolute disaster marriage has inflicted upon itself, people seek alternatives, and start doing so at least by high school.  For traditional marriage to survive, you guys have to figure out how to attract and keep women first or whether you even want to.

The alphabets sprung up like other sociosexual career paths, and should be treated as such; the more you adultify it, the more alluring and counterculture it becomes.  Maybe have like job fairs with booths of drag queens lip-syncing badly, gays in the gym and antique-shopping and generally being drunk and nasty to each other, furries peeing in litter boxes, lesbians grooming their dogs and squabbling over who is centering who right now, heteros getting fat and fighting over chores, tubby nonbinaries changing hair color and hoping somebody notices, large twerking black women manhandling historic instruments, etc., take all the glamor out of it, kids will just yawn.

One notes with interest that children are equated with kids in popular parlance. Maybe because trolls will eat both? And humans will sacrifice or eat or make some gloves? Or, in some circles, do yoga because naturally curious creatures? I don't know. There is are lot of allusions and stories, and reasons, behind goats and sheep, I guess.

In his usual way Ian was disputing the Philadelphia Experiment, of which I have no judgement, due to differing accounts. As a Deacon, or whatever, he should be saying that the lack of precision is, possibly, a reason to believe it. Or some of it. Like the Gospels, or a simple car accident, if all witnesses have the same story, perspective, timeline, etc that raises an eyebrow from any decent cop, lawyer, reader, or DA. An Even with digital frame-by-frame replays you see goals, outs, etc in question. And a natural, or otherwise, situation in real-time one would EXPECT differing views and even conclusions. If all the suspects have the 'same story' that itself is suspect!

Quote from: K_Dubb on October 08, 2022, 02:07:12 PMThe problem with transactional relationships is that they are fundamentally bad for children, as kids grow up they see father sagging toward impotence, mother's growing contempt and chafing at her subservience, teaches them that love is nothing more than a tool.  Utterly perverse and demonic.

People think of this as the patriarchy that must be upheld but that is a total fraud, based on history and culture written by elites and for elites where transactional relationships were common.  Most of us descend from low-class peasant folk married a girl from the village, peasant women always portrayed in literature as coarse and loud and hearty, not dutifully obedient.  That is elite behavior, modesty and decorum are the chains of aristocrats.

Forcing "certain things once loathed, or at least not spoken about" back into their closet is a key tenet of Putinism, makes hypocrites of vast swathes of society with deviant tastes, ripe for subversion and manipulation.  Better to have sunlght, openness, creepy things hide in the dark.

I agree with you there. Political blackmail and underhanded corporate dealings are used so when the opportunity and bringing 'sunlight' to things is good. Not I advocate whatever perversions but there is some logic in the sunlight. I think though, there should be some limits. Like no kids, take it off tv and interwebs, teaching crap in school, etc. (Those should be exposed and get 'sunlight' and prosecuted, of course.) But for elected officials (or corporate officials) their lives should be public and let the voters or investors know, so they can make their decisions. Otherwise there is the concern for blackmail, security, and whatnot. Even if not involved in illegal stuff but just things frowned upon or suspect. And also any dual citizenships, sexual histories or bent, or family name changes should be made public. Maybe a letter branded? A star pinned? Bring Sunshine and buy the world a Coke (or Pepsi.) I kid, of course.

Arguably it is simply transactional and if both parties are of age and informed: who are we to say? As promoted for decades in that way of thinking. Outright selling and trafficking via fraud is likely not a good thing. But also, still being Devil's advocate reasoning here, the diminishment of actual harsh crimes, like that connected Democrat guy in LA who got off on watching black guy's OD and was allowed to do so for years, or some actual, violent rape, being equated with a drunken grope or lewd comment is also bad. And likely a strategy to make certain things once loathed, or at least not spoken about, a 'new normal.' Sort of like we are supposed to accept crime on the streets and blame the victims. I think in Sweden and Germany there even was some, minor, push to accept rape because of 'cultural differences.' Hand-wringing after attacks because 'what did we do to cause this recent beheading?'
