Dr. MD MD

I don't know, a Kardassian, maybe.

That's probably as good a guess as any, actually.  ???

Yet to be determined? That's interesting.  ???

Lets hope he doesn't turn up on crazy days and nights. It'll ruin John Frakes and the holo deck forevar. Someone better check to see how many scenes he had with Will Wheaton. We've already seen what a disaster Ashley Judd has become and she was only on TNG once.

Jerry Van Dyke is dead.

It was kind of a stupid sitcom but back then I had a girlfriend who was into the show Coach so I got to see a good deal of the episodes and he was the funniest thing on it. In fact, I don't think it wouldn't have worked without him. Funny guy, like his bro.

Uncle Duke

The greatest college football play-by-play announcer of all time, although sadly towards the end of his career he struggled a bit.  He will always be the standard by which others are measured, however.

There's a facebook group with his family, his friends, and his fans and reminiscing together. It's actually very sweet. https://www.facebook.com/groups/rememberingstobethehobo/
That's sad.  I met him once at GG park in San Francisco. Friendly guy who lived an interesting life.

The Boomers are dropping like flies way earlier than their parents. Serves them right for being such self-absorbed cunts! Worst Generation EVER, and WWI, II, Silent, X, Y, and Z all agree on that! The ONLY people who think Baby Boomers aren't pure shit, is other Baby Boomers.
holler that!! Death to Baby Boomers. They ruined America FFS.

One Kieth Jackson’s great calls of one of the most spectacular crashes at the 1975 Indy 500. Along with the great Jacky Stewart. Amazingly, Tom Sneva walked away from it.

Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan dies aged 46
Irish singer, whose band has sold more than 40m records, died suddenly in London, her publicist says

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2018/jan/15/cranberries-singer-dolores-oriordan-dies-aged-46?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

I did not expect this at all. She was definitely a top 3lead female band for me in the 90s

Wow, that is sad. So young. The reference to a "back problem" leads me to speculate on cause of death will be some kind of OD or something like other musicians etc.

sad..saw them once in concert when they were big..decent show

A Guardian article went into some detail about her personal issues. Following some extremely bad public behavior and suicide attempts in recent years, she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. That led her to seek help, but bipolar disorder is notoriously difficult to treat.

I somehow knew even before I clicked on the article that it was going to say Fentanyl. I'm starting to think it should be taken off the market altogether.

You probably don't remember this and it's frankly before my time but back in the seventies there was a drug called quaaludes on the market. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methaqualone I'm not sure if there were a lot of ODs on it but it caused a lot of property damage when people would try to drive on them. Watch the Wolf of Wall Street for an example of this. At some point they just made it illegal to manufacture here and now you never here about them anymore.
