El Chorro

She was Art's apprentice. Now Art is gone. She wasn't his "replacement." Radio is too personality-driven to think someone like Art Bell or Rush Limbaugh could train a "successor."

She was going to Art Bell Broadcasting School. His replacement, like it or not, was George Noory. The "next Art Bell" will come from the industry, not his own apprentice program. He wasn't a blacksmith. There's more to it than craft.

Ok miss know-it-all.. define "jonesing" without googling it..

How about trying to troll someone else? I was being polite by not responding to your defense of yourself about being a creeper a few months ago. You should have noted that and showed some self-restraint here. Not all of us have the memory of a fruit fly.

Don't do it, he's just trying to get info on everyone that posts here, mostly the women.

Slander! Everyone knows White Crow is gay!

Heather has not indicated when she will return, it’s day by day. Let’s hope she’ll be back Monday. Please enjoy Art’s last interview with Michio Kaku.

Gentleman, it's been a pleasure playing with you.

She'll be back.  She will most definitely be back, Ray.  Absolutely.  For shoo-er.

Melodramatic Queen.  Could that be song?  Too many syllables for a 'Dancing Queen' remake though.

I assumed over the past 2 yrs. that she's taken advice to change her sound, because it's striking.  I liked the way she sounded when she started on MITD, which to me sounded sexy.  Now she sounds like hillbilly mixed w...something.

Agreed .

Bellgab Redacted became Sean " Heather " Hannity   :'( where everyone not on your Facebook friends list  is your enemy .

Oddly , Heather Wade on Twitter resembles Bellgab Redacted... Wish she was hosting

As a side note, there's always that running joke about how do you explain what BellGab is to someone who isn't in this community. I did that with my husband a while back and it was a strange conversation explaining MV, Falkie, mayo, White Crowwww, horse porn, etc., etc.  ;D

Did you feel dirty afterwards?  :D

My professional opinion is that Heather is going through an existential crisis. She needs to get an actual purpose (her own purpose).

There are benefits to going through life not kissing anyone's ass. You'll never be left disappointed that way.

All of this is pathetic to watch. I'd guess she were 25 years old if I didn't know any better.

The Heather Police are always watching, dearest Brig.

I know SWT.  If I didn't have other stuff to do, I would listen to Heather and post here every night, just to annoy them.

Quote from: Roswells, Art on April 21, 2018, 03:43:56 PMYeah, I remember that you liked her voice a lot. You mentioned it frequently. Someone suggested you should rub one out and come back. It made me laugh.
Well, I was usu. in bed listening, & masturbating used to help me fall asleep...but it stopped working that way many yrs. ago.  Now it's nearly stopped working, period!
QuoteYou pegged it with what she sounds like now, a hillbilly mimicking Art Bell.
That...that could be it.  A hillbilly trying to do his cadence...w/o the COPD, so faster.  With the sort of smile you could hear on Art's lips.

Catsmile hash tag this please  ;D

Well, she's got no less than 125 comments of support in the first 45 minutes.

George is lounging in his St. Louis basement where he is using exposure therapy, to rid himself of his Ouija phobia, so he can contact Art and ask him for the pizza punch recipe.

Noory has also shown an appreciation for nostalgia.  He could do some shows that pick a period of time that he grew up in and address it in his 'newspaper reporter' identity.  He could do his ode to Cronkite at the beginning and segue into some other topics and stories.  Bring in guys who are from that era.  Dick Bertel, etc.  Anyone who is still alive.

That's a great idea. Noory so often sounds bored or not interested in topic matter on C2C and it shows. He would be great at doing a show that highlights shows and movies of yesteryear, in which he shows enthusiasm.

What exactly should we feel badly about?

Art chose Heather to take over.
Heather has had him personally mentoring her this entire time- Years now.
He literally gave her all of the tools she needed, including recording commercials for her.
He knew damn well she was not going to be as popular as he was, and she knew she could not fill his shoes.
She was NOT what affiliates were promised, so losing those couldn’t have been a surprise.
She said she didn’t feel like she could replace Art *several* times from her first show on.

People did give her a chance. Hell, I was a subscriber for quite a while, though mostly because I was hoping Art would change his mind.

He died. What did she do? Yes, she was sad and angry. However she chose to take it out on his former colleagues- nobody else forced her to say those things. She could have chosen to take time off the ‘net instead of what she has been doing. This is how she’s chosen to treat the death of her friend and mentor? While his grieving widow and children are right next door and can presumably see this online themselves?

Oh no no no. Are you fucking kidding me?

The damn tear falling from the lash image?

My wife is sitting on the couch. I'm over at a desk. I click on Facebook and that's at the top of my feed. I throw the tab over to the TV and that teary eyelash image on Facebook is there big as life. Instantly, I hear from the wife: "Is that Heather?"

appears more like plain water drop (perhaps utilizing an eye dropper?)
human tear production doesn’t usually produce such large “tears”...
viscosity doesn’t allow for...

this appears to be a staged photo only

Of course.  GNS because he hardly pays att'n.
QuoteEverybody i know who does radio or stage performance usés à different voice in public vs private. I dont think its à big deal.
Different is not the issue.  It needs to serve a purpose.  Bill Zebub puts on his Prof. Dum-Dum accent.  Narduar -- well, who knows what he sounds like IRL.

She had her radio voice to begin w.  Not everybody liked it, so she affected...this.  Which is distractingly comical.

She has a lot in common with Senda, except Senda makes me laugh while I'm cringing, Heather just makes me cringe.  I could probably get into Heather in a "Senda" kind of way, but then you would have all the Heather supporters trying to have me arrested again.

We'd better start a collection for your bail.  ;)

is she hoping Art’s widow has a big heart and Heather is hoping she notices her...
feels very sorry for her
and tosses her a bone or two ?

ie pays off her house, sends her a big check etc etc

That is one of her problems -- she doesn't have a life outside of the net.
