I agree with not riding on the Shuttle, but only because it only goes to Low Earth Orbit (or so?) can't get me to the Moon or Mars.  So what's the point?

Unless it's dropping me off at the space hotel for the honeymoon with the new wife...

The big problem with the shuttle is that it never had anywhere near the business that NASA thought it would have regarding satellite launches.
