If the guinea pigs always came back to their original time, why didn't Mad Man go back to his original time?

Yeah.  The page had serious lag and some couldn't reply to posts.  The page was difficult to navigate in general.   It apparently is fine today. (just slow load on your post)    Weird. 

I posted from my phone, which was a pain to do.

I tried to post a pic from the phone tonight.

I don't think so - It would create a field around him, but the larger field of the jacobs ladder voltage/magnetics should still have the same effect. In effect, he would create a bubble around himself that would keep his brain/nervous system from becoming addled.
