DIY Project For The True Art Bell Fan

So here is a small project for those so inclined to try it. Its a simple DIY FM transmitter which will broadcast a
small signal sufficient to cover your living space but not beyond so you dont get into trouble lol.

I tried this one because I have several MP3 players, none of which have AM station capability. Because of this, I cannot tune
into MITD.

This basic circuit only requires a few parts, most of which you probably have laying around in broken electronic devices.
Instead of going out and buying wireless headphones etc, and in true Art Bell fashion, engineer your own radio station!!!
Simply plug into your computer headphone jack fine tune to a frequency that is not in use in your area (weak static channel)
then set your MP3 to that channel and you're all set.

Here are the specs. If you have any trouble, post your questions here and I will do my best to help. Enjoy!!  8)

Sounds similar to the small FM transmitter unit that C.Crane sells and Art promoted back during the Sirius shows...

This one will cost you 0$ if you can salvage the parts, and about 1$ if you buy them. Either way it works really
well, only thing is its a mono signal. I dont mind this because I only keep in one ear bud while working. Mind you
its still an FM freq so its sounds good.

All I know is NO MORE WIRES!!!!

Forgot to add a link for the antenna calculator,  but only use this if the range is too small for your property
or target range of listening.
