Well, this was my experience:

* received tweet from Art Bell.com
* followed link to upcoming guest bio
* SWEET JESUS, WHAT?????
* ten minutes on Wikipedia
* "Oh, okay, Art can have on whomever he wants, I'm sure it'll be a decent show."


Step #5 is where I am guessing a lot of people took a different road than I did.

I doubt it was the satanic connections.  Somebody was mentioning pedophilia connections earlier.  I didn't follow up on it, but I'm sure that is what caused the pause.
