It's apparently not possible to ignore guest posts, either across the board or individually.  It used to be the case that you could simply go to your ignore list and add "guest" to the list, but that no longer works.  This must have changed as the forum software was developed over the years, but I can't find any documentation on it.  Sooo, the guest posting thing is going to have to be curbed until I find a good way to make "ignore" work for guest posts.
Darn. Now how will I find out how to buy Viagra without a prescription and will have to write my own essays since bots will no longer inform me how I can hire ghostwriters for them!

Had a quick death?  I didn't know it was an option.

One of the reason I like Bellgab and don't go to other forums is the look and feel of this one.

Just tried the other.  Clicked around for about a minute - the look and feel is not better, it's worse.  In fact it looks a lot like all those other forums I don't want to use.  Is there a benefit I'm not seeing?

Not necessarily any benefit.  Just a different layout.  I ended up going back to the original layout because it seemed like there was too much scrolling required to do anything, and I didn't like how it displayed on mobile devices.

If by curbing you mean curb stomping the guest feature, then bravo!

In the future, all progress will be a re-shuffling of shit that already worked great! Programs, will be called Apps! People will have fucking mobile phones, but will do ICQ texting! Jetpacks and Flying Cars will be replaced by "driverless cars" that kill you. Rearview mirrors will be replaced by "rear-view cameras" that go out! And ancient forums will have featured turned off and on at random, but you won't mind, because you will still have access to people who call your "Faggot" all the time. :) Merry Fuckmas everybody!  ;D

In CA we’re replacing the 1hr airplane flight with 100 billion soon to be trillion dollar speed train that will take 4hrs to go the same distance. Genius! Now why do you suppose our noble democrat saviors would wanna do that?

Along with extremely over priced gas, turning highway lanes into bike lanes and low maintenance on highways proper, they'll have everyone out of their cars in no time. >:(

Can you make it so the ignored posts don't show up at all?  I'd sooner not see a page of ignored posts from someone spamming a thread with retarded posts.

Here's another great idea, courtesy of Kalifornia.

"California is moving closer to charging drivers for every mile they drive.

The state says it needs more money for road repairs, and the gas tax just isn’t bringing in enough revenue.

The state recently road-tested a mileage monitoring plan.

The California Road Charge Pilot Program is billed as a way for the state to move from its longstanding pump tax to a system where drivers pay based on their mileage.

But it’s not just a question about money, it’s also a question about fairness."

Ha, ha, ha.  Don't forget to throw in inclusion, diversity, and other liberal Bravo Sierra so you can feel good as the state further taps into your ass.

Oooo the road charge pilot program. That’ll be interesting. Of course they’ll still forget to Remove the $2.25 per gallon gas tax we have.
