Another GoFundMe campaign...

FYI from the fringe group:

Stacey Singer Hayes shared a post to the group: ON THE FRINGE...THE KINGDOM OF NYE...WITH "THE LEGACY" HEATHER WADE!

Please send love, light, and prayers to John Lear!

John Lear
17 hrs

To my friends on Facebook

I don't know how I could have such bad luck over the past year but I just can't seem to catch a break. My health is slowly improving but I am having trouble keeping up with my bills which is aggravated by my mortgage company which, using every loophole in the law, has now increased my payment from $3800 a month to $5600 a month which with late fees is $5900 a month. My well pump just went out and is going to be about $1200 to fix. I still owe the IRS $32,000 for back taxes and they have put a lien on my house. I am embarrassed at having to ask for some help but my fixed income is not enough, it is my only choice. If you can spare even a couple of dollars it would help. You can help me through GoFundMe Lear Foundation, or PayPal johnlear@cox.net or to my home address: 1414 N. Hollywood Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89110.

Marilee and I, over our 47 years of marriage, have always managed to make it but for some reason over the past year have had problem after problem trying to keep up with these total unfair mortgage increases now up to 8.875%. Marilee works her butt off 14 hours a day keeping our house in shape to sell. I am not complaining I am just stating the facts.

I have applied for the IRS 501c3 for Lear Foundation, which, when approved, will allow a tax deduction. Deductions will apply retroactively.

Any donation will help. Many thanks from us both.

Huh. Monkey see, monkey do.... it worked for Whitley. :-\

Yeah you have the audience involvement thing knocked for sure.

So is it possible to be a recluse _and_ a radio personality?

I'm wondering how much interaction Fibber McGee and Molly had with their audiences back in the day.

No matter, this is a social media age and audiences literally demand everything from one.

Unlike Jimmy Church HLW lacks a brand, his innate Caliphonyan schmoozing, and maybe that all spells failure ultimately.

Be a shame imo, radio ought to be largely the "theater of the mind". :-\

Bart Ell runs theatre of the mind Midnight weekends on KONR. This generation has been spoon fed reality tv shows, Instagram, YouTube homegrown celebs. There is competition everywhere, and not enough Mike’s in Montana to go around. Radio voices need to sell themselves (no hooker jokes, I’m talking marketing) to get larger audiences to know about them. Honest, if she posted daily photos of herself and her cats on various social media - those alone would be reposted thousands of times. Under the photo note, “Come join me in the night on Kindom of Nye.” Then add the url. Vera would do backflips there would be so many new listeners.

It's still very not cool.

Then I’m not cool. But I do know marketing. Look at what Art did; Dave, George, even Vera do. They post photos, videos, go to events - shake hands with fans - public personalities do that sort of thing. It builds fan bases, it creates a following. Someone on here asked where are the selfies with her and Art? Posting those on her FB and website would definitely bring on listeners for her. She could do charity events in Pahrump, those build good relations with your community-at-large. She needs to author a book. People would line up for her autograph at a book signing. Photos of her snuggling her cats - Art did that! And people cooed over him, and became subscribers. My original point was public figures get out and about - and shake hands, hold babies, gain trust, and before you know it - cha-ching$$ more listeners and subscribers.  :)

As for why she got MITD , Art did not see talent he saw a female who drew males to the Bellgab / Gabcast with no effort.

Ah check around here - it is full of males and has zero unwashed post menopausal chunky cat ladies. Who else would call in other than males? And just a couple cool kitties.  8). Even Art could figure out BG’s demographics.  :o

Nope, not unless she stabilizes and turns in regular consistent programming, then we'll see.

These assumptions you lot make are just so self-serving.

I did too, but on and off, as there are plenty of other shows I rotate through as well.

Prime insn't fresh groceries though, is it?

Nope, closest I came was 4 wheeling over by Indian Springs and Mercury many moons (decades) ago.

Ok!

https://www.walmart.com/store/5101/pahrump-nv/details

I'm not seeing grocery delivery listed, can you spot it?

Awesome, that means your mind has not been brainwashed by the left yet.

:)

Lazy ass people hermits near me con/pay Uber drivers to deliver food.

I avoid talking politics, I will say I learned to shoot a gun back in junior high, and I’m joyfully Celebrating America’s Independence Day.

Uh...in Pahrump?

Kinda doubt they have that there yet...

I thought you was a total Heatherite! I listened from day one - always ever hopeful Art would magically pop back into the seat. She said she loves her Amazon Prime. Take that wax outta your ears. Have you ever been to Pahrump? They got a friggin Walmart Superstore! They have civilization there - it’s not the Australian Outback!

I did agree with you Maxine comment, though.

Nice stalker stuff, why not do your own dirty work? :(

Got to love your consistency. 😘 I am in a different time zone - but whenever I find myself in Nevada I will look into renting a drone.  ;)

I feel sure she does leave the shed.  She at least claims to be making a tombstone for Art, and she did put that green plastic picture frame with the orange paper flower outside for him.  Also, she claims to be making a painted rock garden which I gather is outdoors where the sun will surely quickly burn the paint off of the rocks.

Remember Art and his Pahrump drone video? Come on! Someone else in town must have a drone..... Pics required.

Oh I definitely think he should go out as well - just with kevlar and not to get the interview of the century from Karen ;)

Wear Kevlar and stop by to say hello to Airyn? Need a video crew to follow along!

Don't forget that Mr. Winnie had plans to include her in the future.  I think it was a month ago that I last mentioned it to her and, at that point, she wasn't yet approached with a formal request.

I do have some concern that, if he goes to Pahrump, Heather may actually cause some real serious trouble. Her public persona is a Japanese Zero and she may just have enough gas to find a target.

I would have to imagine that Karen has plenty of friends with concealed carry permits...  yes, I am serious that I think that Heather is capable of doing that. She has publicly acted like a complete jackass, she is behaving irrationally and, has exhibited aggressive desires towards her former employer publicly on social media. If she's willing to go that far publicly, who knows where she's going privately.

Sean, maybe you know - does someone on BG live in Pahrump? How many groceries are there? Does HLW actually go out of the shed? Can’t someone snap a photo? Inquiring minds need pics!

If there are only a handful of stores, she and Karen must collide every now and then.....  :o

She has her own music license. That’s what she just said.....

Nothing of the sort was said.  They'll think they've dodged the bullet until the bill and legal docs arrive. Shutting it down on the 2nd... Eh, not a word, was it?

That’s what a gofundme campaign is for. She will pick up Whitley’s tricks.

100 of the listeners are us, laughing at the uhmmmms.

Vara is ranting about that Rowland again...

Now he's belly aching about money for more air conditioning..

Crazy, odd. Bart Ell has had KONR up for about a month - hasn’t asked for a dime - and has something novel - actual paying radio ads! Legit ones, like Walgreens! Not goat soap.
