Ok Folks. I believe I have made my point. Let's all move forward and talk about the future. Great things are possible with so much support coming in these past few days. Honestly I was ready to walk away from all of this. And then you all blasted me unexpectedly with mass support. I thank you and you have no idea what that means to me.
The support is also coming in from radio station owners and operators around the nation and in Canada!
I have been asked to put together a full 3 - 4 hour program which would go directly against MITD - the same time slot. This would be an independent production - solely owned and syndicated by me. I havent decided if I want to make this commitment. Unlike Art - I dont want to jump into something and retire a few weeks late. I have a keen interest in what the listener wants and a balanced interest in what the affiliates need. I don't have the ego and will make this decision based on facts. Thus another reason I will be taking some time off to make sure I would be doing this for the right reasons. I will not operate my business driven by emotions. I will update you all here as soon as I have made my decision. In the mean time - lets all cool it and move forward?

If true that's extremely petty of both Ashcraft and the stations that supposedly dropped the show. How many stations actually carry the DMN segments anyway? I know my local AMs always favor FOX or ABC news reports at the bottom of every hour 24/7.

so a perfectly good show can be dragged down every night or Art needs a longer break. I guess it does both. Hopefully its only on the live broadcasts and not the archive.

I'm catching up today by listening to Friday's MITD, and I hear Art saying that Leo Ashcraft is going to Coast to Coast after a couple offers and some troubles with Keith.

What I find interesting is that Leo frequently mispronounces words.  (He sure had some problems with „Tutankhamen" the other day!)  As we all know, Jorch speaks some wacky ESL.  Do y'all suppose the mispronunciations (Leoisms) are why C2C made offers to Leo?  Maybe Premiere & Jorch are developing a new dialect and they wanted some extra help.  Leonoorish?  Daveleoese?

I'm not real happy about this, or I may not be reading it right?  Are those station owners saying they will drop only the news segment, or the whole show?  If it is the whole show, then someone needs to get some affiliate relations broker and fast.  From what I am gathering Leo was in charge of that to some extent.  It appears to me that he is taking that relationship, established while with Art, and twisting to his advantage, like a corkscrew in the back.

Reading all 10 pages (so far) of this while listening to an old AB show from June 30, 1999 (not on U7 Radio, BTW) was so enthralling...

While others have pointed out the obvious ('roid rage) and the obvious lies and funky-weirdness that Leo's drama queen-esque meltdown was, I'd like to ad something else...
