That's amazingly fast and generous of you.  Any format is fine.  Thanks a ton!

Michio Kaku is also one of my favorite guests, I have all his shows he did with Art

If you have the time would you be so kind to post the show from 1997-11-20 ?  This would be the 3rd show he did with Art from the references I've searched.  I remember spending hours a few months ago trying to track down as many of his appearances as I could find but this is one of them that is elusive.

They would be stupid enough to get rid of Ian.  I agree that he doesn't seem too much into doing paranormal stuff.  Sometimes he will get into a little cryptozoology or afterlife things.  He seems like a odd fit into the CTC machine but in my opinion he's the best host they have with 2nd place lagging miles behind.  He's the only host I regularly listen to.  In fact I make sure to download and at least try out every one of his shows.  Most don't disappoint me.  I think Ian is naturally a good interviewer but what really sets him apart from Noory and even Art is that he often is well prepared for the interviews.  He actually reads the guests books ahead of time and has intelligent questions ready to go.  That's not a knock against Art, no one can do his on the fly method so well, but I never recall Art knowing the guests as well as Ian does.

Part of that, i'm sure, has to do with the fact he's usually assigned one or maybe two shows per week so he's able to prepare specificly for that guest.  I'm no fan of Noory but I give him a break in this since you can't really prepare for a show like Ian does 5 nights a week and Noory just lacks the skills of Art to improvise.

Long live Ian on the weekends I say.

She's done 4 shows.  3 with Ian and 1 with Noory.  I have one from 2010-09-07 with Ian hosting.  It looks like the other 2 are from 2005.

I thought she was an entertaining guest but something really started bothering me and it took a bit to see why.  While entertaining she's not very knowledgeable on the topics she talks about.  She's constantly evading questions from Ian and callers when she has no idea what the answer is.  She does it in a tactful almost unoticable way.  Basically she's just regurgitating facts she's picked up from actual experts.  There's nothing wrong with that in general but I get the impression from her and from Ian that she's some kind of expert when she's clearly not.

I looked through this section of the boards and was surprised to not find a thread for Michio Kaku.  He is far and away my favorite guest Art has ever had on.  I've managed to find a lot of his old interviews and relisten to them once in a while.  I've yet to get his interviews done with Noory.  I just can't see him asking very good questions.

Mr. Kaku has a great way of helping the average guy understand space and physics to a certain extent.  Not only does he make it understandable but it's entertaining.  I get the feeling that he only makes me feel like I understand when I really don't but i'm okay with that.  If anyone has a cache of his old interviews and might be able to fill in my blanks please let me know.  I can give exact dates if needed.

Ian explains why he had boot Maurice Cotterell from the show early.

In listening to Ian breakdown show prep, you can totally see the difference between Snoory and him.

The show where Ian gave Steve Quayle the boot was great.  It had less to do with lunacy than his conastant doom and gloom.  The guy certainly is a lunatic however.  Little known CTC fact:  Steve Quayle hosted the show on 06-29-06.  I ran across this today and was half tempted to download it.

I hope this site comes back up.  I barely scratched the surface of what I wanted from there.

I read through this thread with some slight interest - sad to hear about Art, skeptical that he'd return in any form. However, seeing the above post, I SIMPLY HAVE to play devil's advocate.

I am also a big Glenn Beck fan. Beck does his three-hour terrestrial show each day (accompanied by internet-only video) followed by his sidekicks doing an internet-only hour from noon to one EST. Beck also does a lot of his own video programming with his GlennBeckTV internet thing, and seems to want to branch out/broaden his horizons a bit. Recently he announced that there will be a FIFTH hour of programming when his show resumes after the holiday on January 3rd. No info on a host, other than that the audience would be pleased. Not sure how this would pass muster with Clear Channel/Premiere, but there you go. Have at it.

I remember reading about Beck making comments on Art and did a quick search to find exactly what he said.  I wasn't able to find that but did find this:

I believe this is what brought up Art on the show to begin with from what I gather but the full show isn't available for free.  Interesting UFO video regardless.

Hi guys.  I've been lurking here for a few months now at least so I figured I may as well join in.  Coastgab seems to have lots of intelligent and funny people and I've enjoyed it so far.  See you in the forums.
