It's Smitty's Market in Lockhart.  Never been there but there's no shortage of BBQ in TX, of course.  Not exactly health food, but you can die with a rib in your mouth and a smile on your face.

Smitty's Market, Lockhart you say? I'm on my way with a catering pack of A1 steak sauce

I don’t.  I listen to Dave, but at the same time enjoy playing the peanut gallery role for Heater’s dumpster fire by posting reaction gifs to the commentary by the brave souls who are actually sacrificing their ears listening to her drivel.  (Wait - that was one helluva run-on sentence... shrug.)

I do enjoy reading about the shit show but there's not a snowballs chance in hell I'll listen

The first guest being booked for only an hour was a good move.  Im curious if he'll take up Dave's suggestion on the PTSD therapy.  I don't think Heather would have engaged this guy in anything other than phone sex past the show.

I'm curious about the PTSD therapy too. I felt Colbern was a little hesitant but I hope he does it and shares it on MitD

It's time, Liberace, to give Dave his due.  I know that he even said that he wanted to give it time before signing up time travelers and all to make sure it was a good fit...  Still, time to give him his title.

Looking forward to tonight's show with Seth & Jess Alne, Josh Heard and Richard Estep.

Opening up the phone lines for questions in the third hour?

Alice has really gotten around. His autobiography is fascinating! He still kicks ass in concert, too.  8)

Ever see his stint on Celebrity Ghost Story? Its a particular bone chiller

And can she never be forgiven?

Wassup with that?

If she apologized publicly to George Knapp and (Redacted) her vulture statement, and again to Airyn Bell for leaving her waiting on her porch for a ride to her husbands funeral, I guess I would certainly consider forgiveness. I wouldn't listen to her show again regardless, it wasn't ever that good to begin with.

Occasionally guests would zone out during an interview and take the opportunity to catch up on email or play Freecell. One time Noory caught a guest jerkin' the gherkin. It was very embarassing

No surprise the jerkin' the gherkin mp3 has twice the downloads lol

We do Supernatural News on our Saturday program so it would then become a rehash of what we have already covered during the week. And in all honesty, there is not always enough news to report on each night

DS

Good Dave! Just wanted to chime in to say I'm officially a huge fan. The past couple years I only listened to HW shows when the topic or guest was of interest to me. Never listened to open lines which was something I loved with Art and you gave that back to me. The only shows of Art's I didn't bother with was Bigfoot themed ones. But you got me hooked in when you had Robert Gimlin as a guest.

So you got me listening to every show! You must be doing something right Dave, I'll tell you that.

And you could be doing the show from the bullpen at Progressive Field for all I care, I'll look after the ambiance, you deliver a top quality interview.

Alright we're reaching a bottom of the hour break here, I'll be right back after these messages. :o

Daniel R Schwank would be crucified with a name like that in the UK or Oz. Sounds like ''Daniel Arse Wank'' which he probably is.

So it the latest theory that Heather is Art's son, maybe the one that was abused bby a teacher and sent away to Oregon or something, turned gay, and transitioned? And them came back to get his legacy?   :o

In some pictures I've seen of Art, he does look like he has a touch of the Asians about him. Or maybe that's just me.

And that piracy form, anyone write ''Cuckshed'' for Type of Location? Didn't know what else to put. ???

This is another scary thought about the Radio Hall Of Fame?  Heather Wade someday could be inducted or as she should be, Redacted from it.

If HLW gets inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame, certainly based on recent behavior, then what's an induction really worth?

May as well give 'em away as prizes in cereal boxes or christmas crackers. ''Your name here'' like that ''degree'' of Darrell Neely lol

Olaf was just on as a guest with Dave on MITD a few nights ago.
Is HW stealing guests from Dave now?

It sure looks that way. But let her have seconds, at least if the guest is on with Dave first, we'll have a good interview to listen to.

No. What is the definition of a radio hall of famer? What groundbreaking work did he do? What will he be remembered for in radio? Just can't come up with anything other than getting Arts show.

Well I suppose there are the tens of thousands of insomniacs he has helped cure #JustSaying  :o

He left Noory behind intentionally too ('George gets it'), and at least Coast was the show that built Art's reputation, not some lousy vanity project  at the end of his life. Heather is an insipid hack just like Noory and should be treated the same.

Insipid hack GNoory is on the nominees list for Radio Hall of Fame Induction. https://www.radiovote.com/

Anyone showing George the love today and casting their vote?

Of course, but they could be working there under fictitious names, like "Abrahm" no?

Err, Abrahm? I don't know, I get that nagging feeling I've missed something. Is there an Abrahm?  ???

Do you think it could be possible that Heather has bellgab trolls working on her team?

I would think of it as less of a "team", more a bunch of "numbskulls".  But no, due to paranoia

Heathers Crew

Blah what a crock of shite. I have subscribed, so I can watch the implosion from the inside and for the price of a ‘Bucks a month it’s good entertainment. I can’t listen when it airs so if I want to hear the batshit, I have to pony up.

I read it as Heather Screws. Mostly with geriatrics it would seem.
