I watched the Martian for the first time a couple weeks back and then Interstellar a couple days ago. I had no idea of the cast crossovers between them. Both were very well done, but I liked the more science-based Martian better.

I think Alvarez Dark is the best DM host on the roster but he's overcommitted with his pro wrestling shows.  Listened to him last night and he sounded relieved that the he can't go back to doing After Dark as recorded podcast
This was also an abnormally busy weekend of wrestling and MMA plus he's got a baby on the way. I have no idea how he keeps up with as much as he does.

From the box office counts, no one saw it.
I found out about it as a trailer on another DVD and it's one of my top 3 or so zombie movies. It's also the only one my zombie-phobic wife will watch without turning away at any point. She almost made it with Warm Bodies, but the bonies were too much.

Great show Art. Deborah has a good vibe and some interesting stories. I like the witch/lawyer/Masonic combo and the fact that she worships her cat was icing on the cake. Good times.
All of this. I'm hoping to hear a bit more Masonic talk the next time she's on.

If Joe Rogan had Art on the podcast, I'd expect a nice boost. I don't know if they'd go for it, but the Nerdist podcast with Chris Hardwick has a broad listenership as well.

I implemented the login authentication as well if anyone wants to help me test it out.  It is pretty simple, just enter your credentials into the podcast app's login screen when you are setting it up.

This is how it looks in Downcast:  https://www.dropbox.com/photos/shared_space/bbZutLLRnxLHtJw

I don't think I broke the url based feeds, but I assume you guys will let me know if I did.  Besides that, I'll leave it as it is for a while so it can be tested.
I added the new feed and have the credentials input into Downcast and it's working well. I flipped the sort order within the app instead of trying to use the reversal string in the URL. Thanks!

That sounds like it would be great for mass use and exactly what Keith and co need for launching it as a platform.
Absolutely agree.

I just pushed a change to the site that I think will fix the issue.  In my testing I had to remove the existing episodes first as they will have different identifiers as the newly downloaded ones.  Anyways, if you can either delete everything and/or unsubscribe/resubscribe and see if it fixes it for you.
I deleted the three from last night about 20 minutes ago and refreshed and they came back. It's now just after 5pm here and a refresh did not get them again, so it looks like that got it. I'll try again later to confirm. Interestingly, the Bigfoot show hasn't tried to redownload at all today. Maybe that shifting URL only happens for the first few hours? Anyway, thanks again. This is great!

Thanks for the rss tool! I'm using Downcast and the reverse flag. Has anyone else seen the app re downloading episodes multiple times? Last night's show has loaded on three separate refreshes and I haven't listened to any of the pieces yet. I doubt it's the feed itself, rather something to do with downcast not recognizing things correctly. It's a minor issue, but thought I'd ask, thanks!

There seems to be a lot of VERY new people pumping darkness radio.

I think Dave took a lesson from Obama on steering forums.

I joined yesterday and think that Dave is the bomb, I got my whole town listening to Darkness radio.

Good job Dave, lol.
No agenda here, I just enjoy the show. :)

I don't listen to Coast, but I really do enjoy Darkness Radio and the shows can just fly by. I've even gotten my wife, who hates talk radio, to listen to segments from True Crime Tuesday's. :)

Hi all! I'm a little late to the party listening to Art, but caught up on a number of Best Of shows on TuneIn the last couple yearss. I've been a subscriber over at Bryan Alvarez's site for years and when he started doing After Dark, I in turn started seeking out C2C and have been looking forward to MITD.
