With regard to the Alex Jones article - the article spends a lot of time on Jones, but the linked source of the article, an AP story, spends about one line on Jones.  Actually, it only says that Tamerlan "took an interest in Infowars."  The main thrust of the article is that Tamerlan had, for a couple of years, been heavily influenced by a man the Tsarnaev family knew only as "Misha."  It was Misha who convinced Tamerlan to drop boxing and music as anti-Islamic.  It was Misha who convinced Tamerlan the Jews are tryng to take over the world. 

Once again, this seems to be a Salon (could be any site) taking a very small part of a story to confirm the author's prejudices (to quote Gore Vidal).  We should avoid this, too.

The only other thing about the ricin guy is that he was an Elvis impersonator.  Interestingly, the guy convicted of having ricin in a Las Vegas hotel room back in 2008 was also an Elvis impersonator.

I don't recall ever having heard the mayor speak before.  When I heard him last week, I asked myself, "Who is this Noory impersonator?"

As others have said, I listen to Coast for something different - be it paranormal, whacky callers, or even sNoory making a fool of himself.  I hear enough politics during the day.  That said, I don't know that any other show could have done justice to this subject.  It's long and convoluted and needs the long format Coast offers.  I enjoyed the show despite Wells' difficulties formulating questions.

There are a lot of sites reporting the ricin guy is a Democrat, but I have not yet found a source for that that I would go with.

Interesting, reports from the UK say the other three people arrested, then released, drive around in a BMW with a "Terrorista" license plate.  The reports also say the FBI is tracking down a cell of at least 12-members.  They also say that while the bombs were rather easily constructed, the actual explosive device was too sophisticated for someone to have made from Internet plans.

Seems this is not yet over.

My thought exactly.  And sNoory's reply to the business question - My daughter used to make jewelry and sell it across the Internet.  She's not doing that now.  She also works as a travel agent and makes more at that.

Everyone I know who was a travel agent has quit - no one was making any money at all.  sNoory's daughter must be the only one left.

When Rush had his hearing, he could be funny sometimes.  Now, without hearing, his timing is way off.  Of course, the no-such-thing-as-left people didn't see him as funny.

CBS News is reporting that Dzhokar is an American citizen - naturalized on September 11, 2012.

If he's caught alive, it will be interesting to see what he's charged with.

Pete Williams of NBC is reporting that another bomb has been found in Boston - the Charles Gate section.  Leading to speculation that there are more terrorists.

That may not be true.  Some former government lawyers I've heard interviewed say that if the bombers are foreigners, they could be taken into the military system and flown to Gitmo.

News is reporting Dzhokhar was a scholarship student at an elite school in Cambridge and may have had military training in Chechnia.

Fox News Channel Jennifer Griffin, who spent years in the Middle East, reports there were fears that releasing the photos would be the trigger for a second wave of terrorism.  She's saying some experts believe that's what triggered last night's car jacking, which seems to be the beginning of tonight's activities.

NPR is reporting that a third man, an accomplice, has been arrested.

Seems that the bombers are Chechens. Not toothless white rednecks.

Dzhoukhar A. Tsarnaev is the name now being given by the Justice Department.

Now they're reporting the two suspects are brothers and Chechens.
