All I know is that I wish that I could be so bold/brazen as to spew the transparent BS that Shames puts forth without conscience, and without batting an eye.  How does a person even do that?  Do they laugh themselves to sleep at night at how stupid people are, or cry?  All the way to the bank, I guess.  Like I said, kinda wish that I had it in me to come up with the garbage that Shames does, and deliver it all without missing a beat.

Can't stand LMH, whether we're talking content or delivery.  As has been pointed out, sounds like she's just reading from a crumpled up paper in front of the class, and that she fills in the blanks with various interview sound bytes.  Kills me when she does the whole "Quote...closed quote" thing, over and over and over and over and over again.  Too, I love it when she asks one leading question after another of someone she's ostensibly interviewing, and they consistently, completely contradict her and the direction in which she is trying to rhetorically drag them. I can just picture her smothering the microphone, waving her hands in the air, twitching her fingers in that ridiculous bunny-ears motion thing that some people insist on doing when emphasizing quotation marks.  Suprised if Snoory is actually even in the studio.  Kind of like a free "come in an hour late to work" day.  Just cue up her audio file and let it go---literally just phoning in his show.

My bad.  GN is indeed what I meant.  My apologies to George Knapp, who ain't half bad.  Kinda negatively impacts my credibility in trash-talking GN for being an idiot, I admit. Sigh.  :o

Oh. And anything hosted by Whitley Streiber.  Horsesh*t can be entertaining, but I start to get resentful when I suspect someone is making money off of it (yes, I know--"How arbitrarily we draw those lines!").

Favorite-Ever:  The guy who claims he is/was a horse trapped in a man's body.  The laughing-so-hard-that-you-almost-pass-out is great for clearing one's lungs...Can't recall his name at the moment, but that is p-u-r-e spellbinding/can't-stop-listening OMG! g-o-l-d.

Numerology, Biblical "end times" garbage.  There are other times when I can't get past more than the first few minutes of a particular topic/guest, but I don't even bother 'trying' when it's either of the two I've mentioned.

It's not his 'faith' that I have a problem with.  As someone once said, I can 'respect' his faith/beliefs to the same extent that I can 'respect' another person's assertion that his/her spouse the most beautiful in the world, or that his/her kids are the smartest in the world, etc.  It's when such assertion has implications beyond oneself that I draw the line, so to speak.  I also blurt out obscenities directed towards the radio/IP whenever IP insists (while interrupting) to a guest that he/IP "totally gets it" (whatever point the guest is attempting to make/clarify)...and then immediately goes on to say things that starkly demonstrate just how severely IP most certainly does *not* "get"/grasp the concept at hand.  Maddening stuff, and a poor substitute for  quality, if it's simply that bleakly masturbatory/masochistic "keep listening just because it's so awful" listenership that Premier is deliberately aiming for.

GK has *got* to be taking the proverbial piss when he has Ed Shames on the show.  Even GK can't be *that* frikkin' stupid...can he?

My favorite Dames moment was when he 'called out' the guy who claimed to have been part of a secret CIA program whereby citizens were telephathically sent to live on Mars decades ago...and the guy making the Mars program claims insisted that Dames was there on Mars with the commune or whatever it was.  Definitely a wonderfully "Mobius Strip" type thing to listen to Dames and the other guy calling each other frauds/liars.  Pot calling the kettle black (but in which direction?!) and all of that...

Ian intermittently shows flashes of talent and promise, and his guests are frequently top notch and interesting.  Unfortunately, in my view, IP all too frequently seems incapable of rational thought when it comes to understanding the critical differences between, oh, say, religious faith and scientific principles.  Word up, IP:  The Scientific Method is no more akin to religious/deistic 'faith' than abstinence/celibacy are sexual positions.  Irritates the ever-luvvin' sh*t out of me when he insists on twisting the topic at hand back on itself however grotesquely and inappropriately as a means of whipping that favorite dead horse of his (science and religion are equals) one-more-flippin'-time.  IP's smart....to a point.  Then again, at least he's not GK.

If I had a dollar for every idiotic comment or non-sequitur vomited forth by George Noory...well...then....I'd have a lot of dollars...signed...new to the board, and glad to know that I'm not alone in my disgust with GK.
