Thanks for the thread!  Mon-Fri, Midnight-6AM, 105.3 KYMO.  I'm spinning the hits.

Reading the temps and then playing the Temps was a great segue. Lotta stream of consciousness though. You couldn't do another take? Well, screw it, it was humanizing.

Really appreciate the great music choices.

Can you give us a peak behind the curtain?

Are you making the choices of songs, if so, is there an approved list of songs?

or all your own choices?

or no choice, its all preformated?

My guess,  you are free to play any song you want

"Do the locomotion" lmao.  perfect progression of songs

I met "little eva" my brother is a drummer and when she use to come to town,  she would practice in his basement with his local "pick up band" for traveling one hit wonders

He did play Rock the Casbah for me, thus laying the groundwork for the Bellgab request hour. An hour of music reserved exclusively for members of an internet forum dedicated to a dead radio host, a first in the history of commercial radio.

The playlist for each hour is generated days in advance, but I'm free to change it in any way I want. However, I generally don't change the music because it's time consuming and I'm not terribly interested in controlling which songs play. The only song I bother to choose is the deep track selection each hour.

They play a pretty good mix of stuff compared to the average radio show. Reminds me of a 'songs from every decade' type station we used to have here in Cincinnati for a few years around 2005-2008.

Yeah, the utility to remote in and change the playlist is installed on all of my computers, so it's pretty easy to throw a song in for someone.

I agree. They do a pretty good job on the song rotation.

sweet caroline..

Are you calling me that, or is that what's playing? Because I've got to tell you, I'm just fine with it either way.

Edit: Kiss!

I'm nude under those clothes.

Thoughts?

Sorry, we're going to need pictures of your butt hole before we decide whether you are a good DJ.

That's what the station GM told me up front back in April, but I've resisted.

Huh?  We were told that MV didn't have a butt hole.   My whole world view was predicated on this fact.
Now.  Well........  I am not sure of anything.   :-\

I just tuned in. It's so good, haha. I hope your listeners appreciate being treated like thinking adults. I hope the advertisers don't notice your sarcastic tone, lol  You don't usually get that with DJ's...sorry, "air personalities".

Please tell me you're getting good feedback.

Roswells, Art

Also, the music this station plays doesn't suck at all.

Blondie, Duran Duran, Elton John, Madonna.

Roswells, Art

No thanks, I'll stare at the tear.

Belinda!

Whomever is choosing music for your station has good taste.
