On another note - has anyone discussed using the chat room - or some other portal - for us during the first show?   I think that would be awesome to have a real-time chat going for the first live broadcast.  I don't normally stay up that late but I would for this.

Of course -  Art is the consummate professional, so he'll do what is good radio. But, I can't help but think if the question was asked in the right way at the right time, it would make for some great radio.

I only heard a bit of this n YOUTUBE - I'm glad Barb is coming back, and want to ask if they ever do after-the-fact follow ups  (as with the child splashing in water - maybe a well - did they ever check to see if anything happened there that could relate to those sounds?)

I love my Kindle - it's the most basic version with a blue leather cover (on sale at Amazon - market down from close to $40 to $10- huzzah!

Anything that saves space is good with me - and I love being able to take most of my library with me by just sticking it in my purse. 

What I DO miss is easily marking pages and flipping back and forth in a low-tech book - but I'm getting used to it.

I'm going to plan on white wine and blue cheese on slices of ripe pair.

It  makes perfect sense to me. And while I do agree that Art is much more intelligent and talented than Dave dreams of being, that does not make him a 'good person.'  His foibles are not the same as Dave's but he's got 'em. He may have a God-like talent to entertain and to entice people into considering a wider world than they may have -- but he's hardly a god. 

This would be EXACTLY the kind of thing I'd expect of him (Noory is a half-trained monkey - so he'd go along with whatever)  Art is PT Barnum - FOS but entertaining as hell - and he will go down in history for it.

I know I've been bad aobut keeping up here - but can someone explain to me why we are calling George "Dave?"  Have we all become HAL?
