Oh yeah.  It is a nice chair.  Something is missing though...............

Aha. I know now.  The wall behind the monitors - it is too empty.  To blank.  To stark.  It needs something.
How about a custom mural of this?

It has been! That was an older pic...

Thanks, it's not me considering it though. A friend is looking at buying the new model and then the both of us driving from Helsinki to Hammerfest in the middle of winter to chase down some aurorae, but I have a suspicion his ownership of it will end with someone wrapped around a tree. I don't have any experience driving in snow and ice, and the last time I rode with him we got bogged in snow in an abandoned missile base miles from anywhere.  ::)

Mustangs have actually become really popular here in the past 2 years, since that's what they've filled the niche vacated by Holden ending their manufacturing. Apparently corvettes are going to be sold from 2020 too, but you'd be hard pressed to find a camaro or dodge.
Nice trip!

Sanitizing in the July Arizonan sun...

Good thinking!  I still say that with the exception of Art on air with a mic in one hand and a six-shooter in the other that was the most heroic and dedicated act of broadcasting professionalism I have personally witnessed.  And Art's is likely apocryphal.

Find some space in there for the trusty bucket, too, and you'll be prepared for anything the hereafter will throw at you.

Awesome!  And the best listener-submitted story could win a Peelitzer.

Back to the Athabascans and Marco Polo, the first answer here gives a good summary of the theory.  Basically, the Huns invaded Europe and the Athabascans and Thule proto-Inuit Eskimos invaded North America exploiting the Central Asian sinew-backed recurved bow.

So the first meeting of East and West wasn't Marco Polo who probably never actually made it to China but may have happened on Greenland between the Eskimos and the descendants of the Vikings, and the West lost.

"Some of the teachings of Schwenckfeld included opposition to war, secret societies, and oath-taking, that the government had no right to command one's conscience"
"The Schwenkfelder Church has remained small, and currently there are five churches with about 3,000 members in southeastern Pennsylvania"

And drama was percolating just under the surface.  That place was a dusty grain silo waiting for a spark.
