I have The Chase as a 7" laying around here somewhere. Maybe I can find it and take a pic.

I remember that picture with her from ArtBell.com.  He was a sucker for Asians.

Crystal Gayle is not Asian. She is from Kentucky, and she is the full-blooded sister of Loretta Lynn.

There you go!  Cars at their best.  Nice to see ya, comaphobe!!

They played a banging set in Philly July 1985. The Pretenders also played a set which was just as tight.

Judas Priest also gave the place a kick in the pussy and the stagehands were all really freaked out by KK Downing.

Black Sabbath Reunited and played a cocaine-assisted high energy set of 3 overplayed anthems. Chevy Chase introduced them  but the longer clip with intro is no longer on YouCensor.

Led Zeppelin crashed, they took way too much cocaine and should have just stayed home.

@4:45-4:53, LMAO

Glenn Tipton has retired from Judas Priest. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons 10 years ago and 2 days ago he announced that he is no longer able to tour.

He is an amazing pioneering metal guitarist, IMO maybe the best ever heavy metal lead guitarist.

their player shall not let me listen and browse on the phone at same time. what fun is that.

PS: 113331 and 113333 have occurred. 113339 is still available, yet not as collectible.

Technology / Re: What your view on VLC media player?
January 15, 2018, 07:56:01 PM
I have been using VLC for about 12 or 13 years. It's been my go-to player about that long, although I prefer not to use it for listening to music because I think Winamp sounds a little better because of the EQ/scoop control. I do listen to streaming talk on VLC though because sometimes it's useful to bring the volume up beyond 100% so I can drown out any background noises in other programs that might going on and I can't do that on Winamp. For actual music I choose Winamp, for all video and spoken audio I use VLC 100% of the time except in a very rare case.

I always wished VLC would have teamed up with a disc player manufacturer that would base their innerds around the VLC codec package. My DVD players typically played AVI, MPEG/MP4, WMV, MKV, but one single player would usually not play all of the above. I used to have 2 players hooked up so I could play almost any compressed media from DVD-R at a moment's notice, but I never had one that played FLV files.

I think most if not all TVs now have a USB input. But I bet they still cockblock many file formats. I am pretty out of the loop with videogames and video anything this decade. But I do know that I hate HTML5, and Facebook, and 2.0 horseshit wordpress pages that scroll for eternity like it's 1995. Fuck all that simplified swipe and flail Fisher Price bullshit. I want inline frames and target="this frame" with no 3-4-5 clicks to get into a fucking inbox and no eternal scrolling. The internet has gone to hell in a handbasket, and so has file formatting.

Gonna start a Frameset Cult and build a recruitment module in SWF format just to piss in the faces of the hipsters, the W3C, Scroogle, Microsatan, Apphole Inc, and the rest of these shit-eating tyrants.

CityTV played this one a lot as well as Private Lessons in the late 80s early 90s. Sometimes back to back or sandwiched in between one or the other and another one called Hot Dog Cops.

RIP CityTV.

Hmm...

A Richard C. Hoagland Comic Book would obviously be a BIG hit. It could pull in millions of guffaws and maybe even make a few Internet$.

I wonder if it could be done without running afoul of defamation/libel statutes. I supose that depends partially on whether RCH is a big enough 'public person' or not. It may have to be anonymously published from some third world shithole.

I think it's worth looking into.

NB: I'm already laughing so hard I can hardly breathe. And I may have pissed myself.

There was a "Henry+Glenn Forever" comic circulating internet about 10 years ago. Rollins was amused but Danzig was not. These 2 used to be friends in the early 1980s to early or mid 1990s. The comic portrays them as gay lovers.

It would be effortless to do something similar with RCH. Plus you could do a Michael in Japan spinoff centered around a short and pudgy sedentary lifestyle femme with stubble beard, carebears backpack, iPad, iDildo, and iThing, and reward APP for 7-Eleven, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell. One episode could cover a trip to the nearest  7-Eleven with Wireless Hotspot and could be based on creating the typical Slurpee; IE 1 layer of Coke, a layer of blue raspberry, one layer of Mountain Dew, one layer of lime green, another layer of Coke, and top it off with a jigglyswirl of cream soda on the top with a quick plop of Orange Crush on the very very top, leaving just enough to clip the tit-shaped dome lid on top of the Megasized Super Cup with built-in harness and reusable corrugated flourescent pink flexi-straw, printed with the theme of the latest blockbuster summer flop. The possibilities are endless.

All one would need to do is write short little scripts based off of OSOM dialog/material or soundbites. You could sum up the entire Chicken Neetza incident in just a few frames. Include easter eggs to unlock an episode based on the 1.5 frames that reveal an Asian escort in the motel room.

To avoid paying royalties you could just change everybody's name like they did with Tesla in the 1940's animated Superman serial.

Yeah, I have much of his work.  Did a hell of a lot of covers in his day.

When would his heyday have been? In terms of sales/popularity/consumption etc? Between approx what years or decades?

The head of Bob Ross... It kind of looks like Death Star. That's 1 degree of separation from 19.5.

has he explained how they get the caramel in the Caramilk bar yet?  LOL

No because they don't have that in America. And let's not get into the Smarties because that's a whole other thing which is much more complicated.

Is there a direct link available or do you still have to listen from the bloated blog page?

I'll just pretend I am listening.
