Ok, I liked the Friday night open lines.  It was a different atmosphere than the rest of the week -- more relaxed, I guess.  Interacting with Art could seemingly elicit something interesting out of the most mundane caller.  He seems genuinely interested in meeting people over the phone, maybe this comes from his ham radio.  Just two people talking in the dark.

I think he's said that it will be unscreened open lines friday like the good old days.

I believe that they had already demonstrated this (Maybe Keith or Dr. J?)  It builds up delay during the pauses in conversation and then you can use it when needed.  I'm sure that this is probably especially important when going over FCC regulated air waves.


I cannot see Art using it aside from keeping the rules (profanity and the likes)...

Are you still putting up a multi-second delay to censor out names and profanity?
I'm going to be listening via stream, but I've been exploring Software Defined Radio (SDR) so that I can pick ya up on WTWW with more clarity than my cheapo shortwave. SOOO excited!
