Instructs the fairly decent looking model to wave the checkered flag two laps early.

Ha. I switched over from the race to college baseball before that. I have no idea who that was, so searched, figuring a model working F1 would be worth a look. Sorry I did. She is a model??  :o

A man sees a sign outside a house:
'Talking Dog For Sale'....He rings the bell, the owner appears and tells him the dog can be viewed in the back garden.
The man sees a very nice looking Black Labrador Retriever sitting there.
"Do you really talk?" He asks the dog.
"Yes!" The Labrador replies.
After recovering from the shock of hearing the dog talk, he man asks, "So, tell me your story!"
The Labrador looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the SAS.
"In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders, because no one imagined that a dog would be eavesdropping.
I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years, But the jetting around really tired me out, and I knew I wasn't getting any younger so I decided to settle down. I signed up for a job at Heathrow to do some undercover security work, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded several medals. I got married, had a few puppies, and now I've just retired!"
The man is amazed. He goes back into the house and asks the owner how much he wants for the dog.
"Ten quid!" The owner says.
"£10? But this dog is absolutely amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheaply?"
"Because he's a lying bastard. He's never been out of the garden!"

Can you go on a date in a backless tuxedo and not get caught?

There's another episode where the girl he's on a date with is doing the same thing to him while he thinks she's not in on it.

Those crazy Japanese with their crazy game shows. I liked the "it is closer to the target with the left" excuse.  Good ad-lib, but is ridiculous.

Those things were awful. Worse than cicadas in certain years or a lawnmower droning on. At a point you get used to it but it is still horrible. What was the 'rainbow nation' thinking allowing them and even promoting them?

This little girl was rescued by Laura..It flew into our front window a couple of weeks ago and Laura brought it around to the land of the living. I thought it was dead, but it was stunned and probably in shock. It was fed with sugar water and after a couple of hours looked a lot more lively, fluttered it's wings and fly to a tree to roost for the night...The next day she came back and fed at this feeder. The day after she hovered in the fine water spray Laura was using on the flowers then perched on the lance Laura was holding and cocked her head side to side.. Hummers recognise people, they're very astute and fiercely protective of the feeders (We now have four).. Just before I shot this, she hovered in front of my face about a foot away cocking her head, then did the same in front of Laura who was sitting beside me.

Well-done.  For all the shit you post on here nothing is more revealing as to what fine people both of you are. ;D

Good looking out for that little bird.  Nicely done!

We can use all the good stories and good people we can get these days, like this guy who delivered pizza to some detained immigrants.

Survey says 1 in 14 of 2000 people surveyed had sex at work, 1 in 10 with the boss.
Take it with a grain of salt as this survey was done by a sex toy store.
I bet half the respondents saying yes were making it up and as for the
other half, well, we are dealing with probably sexually promiscuous people.

D'you think the rite of exorcism would be an effective method of birth control? Would you say it before, after... or during?

Love that show.  I almost started a Letterkenny thread. Season two is the best...? hmm

Since I figured the soccer thread is not very popular I would post this also here. Sorry for cross-posting but this is just too bizarre. Praise MV!
