You know what makes me laugh more than the childish behavior I've witnessed tonight?

twig insists that I'm a Cat Lady.  Oh how I wish I had that Honor.  Unfortunately, to be an official Cat Lady, one must have two, that's 2, two, or more Cats in the household.  Sadly, I have but one.
But she's a wonderful companion.  She curls up next to my pillow at night when I go to sleep.  Wakes me up in the morning when the sun shines through the window.  If I don't wake up straight away, She'll walk back and forth around and across me till I blurt out an expletive or two.  But She's satisfied I haven't died in my sleep so we're good to go.

I know there are some reading this who know exactly what I'm talking about, even though they may not want to admit it in this thread, due to the unfortunate circumstances.  No worries.  You know your Cat is your bud, and your Cat is well aware of this too.

Anyway, I'm probably going to get more misguided flak for this but, oh well.  That's how life rolls.  And if ya know how to ride the son of a bitch, it can actually be fun!

As I said.  I've made many friends over the years.  Now, some of them are here, some of them are there, some of them are here and there.  Regardless of which forum I'm on when talking to long time friends, they seem to bring out the best in me and I hope I bring out the best in them.

It hurt me, enough that some nights I cried myself to sleep, or didn't fall asleep till an hour or so before dawn.

Understand, Doc.  I was a part of BellGab before it was BellGab.  In 2007 I joined a forum, I won't mention it out of respect for MV.  There was a GNS thread, so I joined.  Not long after that MV initiated his own GNS forum.  I became a member about a week or two before he either ended it or revised it to CoastGab.  That was a very long time ago, so MV may want to make some corrections. 
Anyway.  I resubscribed my membership from GNS to CoastGab and have been a member ever since.

I've made many wonderful friends on this forum, over the years.  Some have kept in touch, some have passed away.
I have a lot of very happy memories this forum has given me and no one, NO ONE, will ever take those memories from me.

So, yeah.  I may have gotten a little protective of BellGab, but I guess I felt like an old mother hen whose chicks had grown to adulthood and was distraught to see them being willfully lead to the woods by a wily old fox that hadn't even been around that long.

okay.  Gonna stop here or I'll wind up writing another story, except I don't think I can publish it cause, well, 1. I'm creating it on a public forum.  2. I have NO idea where it will go. 
Damn.  Writing can be a blessing or a curse.  I'm supposed to be giving a simple answer to a simple question, and what do I do?  Start writing a short story.
