We snuffed Mugabe in 2012. That is the body double.

Resignation, effective immediately.

The apparent successor is Mugabe's former right hand man, 75 year old Emmerson Mnangagwa.  Former head of State Security (spy chief), and the departments of Justice, Finance, and Defense, he has close ties with the military.  Everything a dictator needs.

So at 75 does he step up to become a statesman and lead the country to freedom and prosperity - or was this a meaningless coup to replace the previous thug in order to block his wife and her cronies from succeeding him, and install a thug more preferable to the military?

Glad Mugabe is stepping down. A rope would be better but, oh well. Is the French Rivera still the go-to place for ex-dictators or where do they go? The Middle East is getting a bit unstable for a good retirement.  I'm sure the Crocodile will set Zimbabwe's house in order. He is a nice, honest guy.  ;)

I thought it was traditionally Morocco or Saudi Arabia.

Were good, traditional destinations to go but getting a bit more unstable now. I think France is where it is at or the US (though supposedly Congress was fixing that some years ago?)

Here is a list of current dictators (according to their criteria and political outlook:)
I like that the leader of Gabon smiles, normally a dictators' countenance is so stern, megamanical, or militaristic. I also like the cowboy hat of the leader of the South Sudan, did you know that he got a hat from Pres Bush as a gift and liked it so much that he went and ordered more and now has become his signature style?

I think I arrested the President of Gambia in the Lost Angeles projects shortly after the Rodney king riots.  Possession to sell, IIRC.  He was holding 'rocks.'
I 'C clamped' his throat before he could swallow them.  My first excessive force beef.  Ah, good times, good times.

The Iraq guy reminds me of Buddy Hackett.....   That's not a great look for a Dictator.

Also I think I just bought a set of Tires off of Mr. Vietnam last month.  Seems like he is moonlighting down at the NTB.
