I think they tried to do this but found out many of the networks that no one watches would go bankrupt. I don't see why we have to foot the bill to keep these horrible stations afloat.
Hahaha, geesh, and there's a problem with these crap networks going bankrupt, other than for the crap networks?  What, do we need more corporate welfare to support this junk?

I just canned Direct TV because I was tired of paying for hundreds of channels of crap.  I've been very pleased with some select channels I can get for nothing with a simple antennae.  I'd rather take-up needlepoint than go back to subsidizing a bunch of reject networks and their trash shows.

I wonder who discovered George Noory
I don't know but would they please take him back to where they found him.

Well, technically speaking, Billy Joel Land is Long Island, while Bruce Springsteen is more Jersey Springsteenshore, although both can be merged into New Tristateshire.
Hahaha, yes, no doubt. :)  Jersey Springsteenshore is definitely within the sphere of influence of Billy Joel Land, though, and vice versa.  I don't believe Springsteenshore is planning an invasion of Billy Joel Land anytime soon, but Vladimir Christie does make them nervous, at times.

Or George Noory to
Mike Siegel
Ha, at this point, Siegel looks pretty good.  As far as Joel and Springsteen, Springsteen just came to mind as somebody else from the "Billy Joel Land" region.  I'm fairly certain not liking Springsteen there is a felony offense. :)

I was never big on Billy Joel but I've never been a fan of Springsteen, either.  His voice just doesn't work for me.  It just seems like too much over-wrought emoting.  His version of something such as "Downtown Train" sounds horrible to me.

God, I hate myself for that cheap shot. heh
Excellent! :))  I hope Bloomberg isn't in charge of concessions.  Nothing but bottled water and tofu while you're waiting in line for the Christie ride or the piano playing Bill Joel robots exhibit would really suck.  I wonder if there'd be a Christie Brinkley flash-back show.  I wouldn't mind catching that.  She still looks pretty damn good.

Why the hell was he banned?  I missed that somewhere.
It's my understanding Eddie had a meltdown with some folks who showed-up during the Dark Matter debacle.  It got worse from that point on.  Too bad.  I miss his exchanges with Sardondi.

During my misspent youth in Quebec, in the dark of a northern winter,  we would stick a bottle of Beefeater in a snow bank for an hour,  and then drink it very, very quickly.  Good times - and bad times - ensued.  Just a sniff of the stuff turns my stomach now.  All because of Kiss:

BTW, isn't about time Eddie Coyle was allowed back?
Looks like Eddie got the permanent boot.  He is missed.  Anybody manage to maintain a connection with him?

ZOMGGGGGGG I can't sleep. My muscles are all twitchy and I can't get comfortable and I'm wired as hell.

I FEEL SO MISERABLE AND UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN SKIN!

If only I had some TriCalm!

[attachimg=1]
Hey, that's a blue and white box.  I thought Jorch said the stuff was blue, in a white box.  Is it really blue and comes in a blue AND white box?  Is the stuff blue and white and comes in a blue and white box?

That tricky Jorch.  I'll bet he wants us to buy the stuff just to find out.  Sorry, Jorch.  I'm not falling for it.  I know you're really just a clueless idiot who can't even correctly read a script for a commercial.

Easy problem. What you do now is tear off the spiders head and mount it on a stick. And set it next to the bed by that crack so other spiders can see it, they won't mess with you!
Works everytime.  Oh, and make sure you start talking to yourself, saying things like "Vlad, you're doing great!  See how your little subjects tremble in your presence!"

Big times in Boise.  I've always heard it said, "if you want to make the big times, you have to make it big in Boise."  Or was that Dubuque?

Yes, Jorch, "you're going to make it after all!"  Hey, Ziznak, can you photoshop Jorch's head on to Mary Tyler Moore tossing her hat in the air in Minneapolis?
#18616
Can't you see it?  While she has her trusty recorder playing away, poor Linda is frantically rubbing Tri-Calm on her crawling skin, wolfing down some leftover Dinovite, hoping to keep Jorch from causing a complete meltdown.

Linda was on DM, yet was not banned from C2C. It was the best interview she's ever done in my opinion.
Linda's safe for now.  Jorch still has the hots for her.  I can envision her reaching for the Tri-Calm every time she has to talk to Jorch.  The poor lady probably has to mainline the stuff.

Ah the Tri-com, tri-balm stuff...  I was listening to some other shows the other day and noticed that the company apparently sends out the same ad copy to various other hosts, it was enlightening to hear people I like very slightly more than Nooron (Savage) read the same thing and sound like freaking Laurence Olivier compared to Nooron.  I think I even heard Levin read it.

"...same ole smurfuggin..." is all I can recall of the Nooron mush mouthing of it.  Funny thing was, the other hosts reading it, you could actually understand what the name was supposed to be, which escapes me at this time.

That is all.
Hahaha, that's "thuh trooth."  Noory sounds like a Bowery Boys reject when he reads an ad.

As far back as Dec. 12, 1992, the earliest show we have, he was calling it Coast to Coast.

I figure it will take them 25 years (!) to run out of candidates for SIT shows.  At least under the present scenario.

       1,581  minus 334 SIT shows = 1,247 / 50 = 25 years

They've drawn SIT from 1994-2002 almost exclusively.  I wish they'd widen it to 1990-1993 too.  But on the assumption they won't....

Let's see, they started SIT in 2007, so we've had ~7 years already. 7 x ~50 shows a year - that's about 350 weeks for SIT shows - that roughly checks out with the number we have to date (334).  They do repeat them on occasion.  Subtracting those already broadcast as SIT, that leaves 1,247 possible candidates for SIT or about 25 years' worth.

Hmmm.  They could EASILY widen it to 1990-1993, put out 2-3 or more SITs a week and still get vast mileage out of this.  That is if those years are available to them.
Thanks for running the numbers.  I thought it had to be in the thousands.  I hope PremRat has the sense to run SIT for the foreseeable future.  A lot of enjoyable shows to look forward to and no doubt a number I didn't hear when they were originally broadcast.

One of the funniest moments in TV history, as far as I'm concerned.
The Seinfeld episodes with Stiller are some of the best.  Festivus, the Manssiere, hilarious.

Listening to the Sept 19 Dark Matter show, it's pretty damn hilarious how Art is just openly making fun of RCH.... then they both start making fun of Noory! Ahaha!
Ah, yes.  The good 'ol days.  Right before The Quitening.

Size of the audience be damned.  Do it as the statement of a one of a kind artist.  If a work of art shall only have one viewer, should it still not be done?  If a work of Art shall only have one listener, should it still not be broadcast?

Primarily curious about the total number of C2C shows Art hosted over the years.  I've been wondering about how many shows could end up as a SIT broadcast.
