Do you guys take milk from the back of the fridge at the supermarket? I don't fall for their putting the closer to expiry milk at the front jedi mind trick. I once got yelled at by a small corner store clerk for taking the milk from the back. She tried to sell me the milk at the front that was 2 days from expiry rather than the milk that expired in 10 days. Needless to say I left empty handed and never went back. I had my cereal with orange juice that day.
Now you're talking.  Damn bad milk pushers.  They're the worst.

How close do you flirt with danger? When do you call it a day on your carton of milk. Will you risk drinking it a day, 2 days, arrrgggghhhh 3 days after expiry? Or are you a pussy and won't even drink it on the use by date? I knew someone who wouldn't even drink it a day before "use by" just to be certain. Because once you taste expired milk you can not go back for a while. I once read an article about how food companies are very conservative when it comes to pronouncing "use by" dates but I'm not sure if this applies to milk as one whiff and you can usually tell very quickly.

When is milk done for you?
First Dark Matter, now an assault on milk?  Damn truckers. ;)

Hahaha, geesh.  Would this involve a big bag of cheeseburgers, perchance?

Jorch's wiki should just have "see "sucks" in the dictionary."  The dictionary definition of sucks should just have Jorch's mug.

Noory must be sweatin' it this morning, worried he might lose his G rating.
Uh, oh.  His mommy may have given Jorchie hell today.  No cookies for you, Jorch.

I logged on and saw the huge list of entries for the GNS thread. Man, he must have REALLY sucked last night. Way to go, Jorch! Keep up the mediocre work!
Ah, it must be Tuesday morning.  Noory has returned for the week and filled the previous night with suckage.  It's like opening the front door and seeing a steaming pile of poo from a neighbor's dog setting on your porch.  Good 'ol "Reliable Jorch."

...'Gladiator' is another film where the music is outstanding and even surprising in capturing the mood of the battle scenes and the death of Russel Crowe's character and his reunion with his wife and son in Elysium. Music by Hans Zimmer (I'm a big fan), Lisa Gerrard, Klaus Badelt.

Gladiator Soundtrack "Elysium", "Honor Him", "Now We Are Free"
Yes, yes, yes!  I love that film.  My favorite Russell Crowe movie and probably my favorite movie.  It reminded me of the epics of old.  If only the current Hollywood would produce more entertainment such as this classic.  One of the few movies where I not only have the DVD but the soundtrack CD, as well.  A truly outstanding work by Zimmer.  Even this fellow liked it.

Not only does he sound like an NPR weenie, he LOOKS like an NPR weenie. Maybe he's really from Minnesooota and is just posing as a Canadian to appear "trendy," eh?

Yeah, Syrett has this mild NPR-like voice that is tough to listen too, especially late at night when you are already tired.
I made it through the first hour last night before Mr. Milquetoast put me to sleep.  Isn't this guy suppose to be "The Canadian Art Bell?"  Geesh, I'd hate to hear "The Canadian Jorch Noory." :P

I remember the last show she did was ok, but the topic she has tonight just doesn't interest me. Especially after another good Somewhere In Time.
It's always such a let down to get warmed-up with Art and then end up seeing what C2C has become.

Is that Doc Savage as your avatar?  Savage is a midget compared to jackass Smith but I'd bet Dr. Mike would pound that weasel senseless.  Jackass Smith should be working in a Chinese laundry.  Great, Smith is gay.  I don't care if he enjoys being gang raped by the Keebler elves.  He sucks doing the news.

God most of the cable news is just awful, regardless of one's political views.  Really so much of it just sucks.
You've got that right.  The local news is worse.  It's become some kind of version of TMZ.  Oh, speaking of smug jackasses.

Noory: "Yeah i know, of course."

Guest: "Anyone could listent to C2C for one minute and realize you're doing it from the heart, out of passion ... genuine authenticity."

(Jeez.  Is there a Noory suck-up clause that guests have to sign these days?)
Yes, there is apparently a "tribute" clause for little Jorchie.  The guest had better pay proper tribute to emperor Jorch or it's thumbs-down and "Springheel Jack" time.  Truly gag-worthy.

I think my favorite anthology show from the old days is Thriller which I only saw when I bought the DVD set a few years ago...
One of the best discoveries I made last year was to rediscover over the air digital broadcasts.  A number of interesting channels in my air with my favorite being Me-TV.  The odds are there is a Me-TV station in your area and I highly recommend it if you enjoy the older TV shows, such as "Thriller," "Columbo," "Twilight Zone," etc. The great thing is it only costs the price of an antenna.  I catch "Thriller" occasionally when Me airs good old Boris Karloff and company on Sunday nights.  The writing and acting for even the less interesting episodes are usually far superior to the crap posing as TV shows on cable/satellite these days. I can thank that junk plus Noory's brain-dead romper room for driving me back to OTA broadcast TV.  Thanks, doofus Jorch!

I like the Twilight Zone enough to where if I see it on tv, I won't change the channel for a while. But thats about it. If I want a Twilight Zone fix, I turn on my television, not my radio. Another dull night on coast to coast.
I'm a big fan of "The Twilight Zone" but, in typical fashion, Jorch ruins everything he touches.  He's just a creep who may as well start off with "have I ever told you about..." just before he launches into something he's bored everybody with numerous times before.  I can just picture the unfortunate listeners rolling their eyes.  To add the final touch, Jorch is always looking to name-drop or trying to key upon some lame point he thinks will make him look important. Yes, Jorch, we know you're buddies with Billy Mumy and Pat Boone.  Big whoop.

And he wonders why we're here, over and over again, talking about how he sucks so much. That reminds me.  "Have I ever told you about how much Jorch Noory sucks..."

Now that IS scary.  Did I see Tommy in the video?  I can see Tommy as a Juggalo.  At least he has the "proper physique."  The most Jorch could hope for would to be a Juggalo wannabe.  Just like Jorch is a wannabe human.

He started the interview saying that he would freak out in the box, and then he said he didn't find it scary. Make up your mind George.

At least we know Jorch is a self-hater.  He's told us he's afraid of clowns.

Poor Valdez approached the human limit to Noory's suckage and began bleeding profusely from the ears. You don't just come back from that.
If I'd gone through what Valdez tolerated in Noory Hell, I'd be getting a new suit by now.

George knows he`s golden. He doesn`t have to worry about competition like the daytime talkers.hell.he doesn` t even have to be RIGHT about anything because his subject matter is for the most part speculative. He just has to keep his head down and not piss off his masters by being too controversial like Wells did.It is the perfect spot for George because his main personality trait, laziness,is actually an asset.Nope,Georgie isn`t going anywhere-Coast listeners are stuck with him.Just learn to love him for the mumbling, bumbling self-important ass he is.
If only mush mouth, bumbling, jackass Jorch could have passed the postal exam so only unfortunate bar patrons would run the risk of exposure. :P

In my market, the non-24 ads started the day after Christmas.  One male read the ads for a month, then a different male, then the woman, and now the first male is reading a different ad.  The first three did sound like public service announcements, and when I ran a whois on the website and found it was owned by a pharmaceutical company, I became very angry.  Ads are not supposed to sound like PSAs. It's very unprofessional and very unprofessional for the stations to air them.
I agree.  I found this article about the Vanda outfit.
